I love when people try and twist it around though, if it makes Joey crack feel good, fine, but his album was still a commercial flop. He spent all that time on interviews about 50, Remy, Papoose, and Prodigy, the nigga should have been PROMOTING his failure of an album. In 2008, people dont give a fuck about beef. Its entertaining, but it WONT sell records. Maybe Fat Joe should have spent more time/money promoting his PROJECT not his ALTERCATIONS.

In this stupid clip he is talking about his album compared to 50’s last album…lol He sold 48k his first week compared to 50s 695,000 album sells in his first week! I agree with most of ya’ll on here. fat joe is the dick head of all dick heads. yes, 50 didnt sale big on the last album, but thats only compared to his last two albums cuz at least he went platinum. and what the fuck did fat joe hit? has he even made it to gold yet? i highly doubt it.

he has to pay for his own ish upfront like video, putting the album together producers and so forth, that’s why he only made a profit of 50k making 7 a cd, you have to recoup spent fees. ….but selling 46k records when you a vet gotta be a disappointment

the nigga budget had to be pretty expensive, what did he have like 6 videos? and the ayo technology video cost 1.5 by itself. it cost 100 thou to get j timberlake on a song, anotha 200 to get timbo to do the beat. thats 2 right there. so he spent 2 million on 5 videos, all the posters, street teams, commercials on the radio and tv, ads….maybe he came outta pocket for some of that shit, i dunno. but his budget in general had to be at least 10 mill, and thats whatever came out of his pocket and what interscope paid. but fat joe shouldnt be sayin 50 took a loss, i heard he sold out every show that he did in the UK, and they got soccer arenas ova there. u can fit 80,000 muthafuckas easy in those arenas and he was sellin em out. so they didnt lose money overall. off record sales, yeah. u gotta say he flopped in that regard. he sold 10 million on massacre and 1 million on curtis, so yeah, thats a flop. numbers is numbers. but his shows made up for it. fat joe couldnt fill up a arena if he gave tickets away. he cant talk shit about 50, 50 probably sold him 25 thousand more albums than he woulda sold. them 700 thousand people that downloaded the mixtape, 200 thou of them didnt even know fat joe shit was bout to drop. and 20 thou of those actually went out and bought the album. fat joe should just bow out of this one…he lost. plus this mixtape is gonna be chock full of wack material. and on top of all of that…

fatjoe didn’t even recoup from the video he did with j holiday, that video costs at least $500,000. I don’t think any rapper wants an enemy like 50cent, back in the day rappers actually battled on records, who came harder on the song/ style/ punchlines, like jayz and nas, ll cool j and canibus,

even jarule and 50cent was battle at first, but what 50cent and fatjoe got going on has nothing to do with who the better rapper is, its personal so in truth it aint even about who is richer or who sold more records, thy need to fight it out or somebody gots to die, but they both dont want no real problems, they acting like women.

50 may have not spent 27 mil promoting his album but it was probably more than 3mil. Think of all the vids and ads. A week b4 his album dropped you couldn’t walk 6 feet w/o hearing something about his album. On a sidenote has everyone forgot when 50 used to blast ja rule for being pop and now he turns around and makes a song wit justin (the definition of pop) timberlake. i’m not sticking for fat joe or 50 its just funny when u sit back and look at all the facts.
