Miss Info and Joell Ortiz on Being Dropped From Aftermath
Miss Info spoke with Joell Ortiz on not being with Aftermath. The “Bodega Chronicles” rapper says the music recorded with Dr. Dre is his and the people will still hear it. He’s also in a bidding war with labels and should be dropping a mixtape soon. Joell needs to come out with a new album ASAP. At least now he and Game have something in common to rap about together.

daamb…. actually if u think about it Joell a really smart cat for asking for them release papers… It was either that or be STAT QUO… So now hopefully he comes out this year accompanied by some beats from Dre… cant wait for his official debut tho… Peace!!!
P.S. A little tension brewing between Joell and Bishop..?????????? We will have to wait and see!!

Co-sign @11 Stat Quo was suppose to drop since 03 Dre is a joked good looks on Joell Ortiz for getting out of that situation as soon as he could. Hopefully a new Joell album is dropping this year

I’ve been listening to a lot of Joell in the last few months – the man is one of the tightest emcees I’ve heard in years. His lyrics are smart and conscious. He’s talking about shit that matters, yet he doesn’t shy away from the occasional boast or brag people except from most rappers these days — except when he does it, he finds new ways. If one song isn’t enough to prove his genius take a look at his SAT scores — near 1400! (According to The Rolling Stone and mp3.com)
He definitely seemed upset about this whole situation, but I think (and hope) that his talent will prove itself soon enough.
