Its all about free and low wage labor. Blacks are being victims of it in the prison system while brown people are being victims of it through illegal immigration.

For #1 and #3…Do you think that every person particularly every black person sitting in jail actually committed a crime…Do you know how many black men have sat in jail for 10, 15, 20 years for crimes that they didnt commit..Thank God for DNA analysis and the ACLU.

And even if everyone in prison actually deserved to be there, that does not give corporate America the right to exploit them and profit off their labor, especially when prisoners have no choice in the matter. By its very description you can call it slavery.
I think if the labor had to do with cleaning up highways or something that benefitted the entire public it would be a different story, then they would truly be paying their debt to society.

People have to realize that the people who will own these jails WILL be white, and we already know, statistically speaking, that blacks account for the majority of prisoners. Can anyone tell me a time when white people have actually looked out for blacks and not taken advantage of them when they had the chance??…Didnt think so!
