Slick Rick & Nice & Smooth Bring Back That Ole NY Rap

For anyone longing for the old school days of hip hop, you may not have to look very far. Slick Rick and Nice & Smooth will be bringing it back to New York’s golden era later this month at The Freedom Party.

Slick Rick, known for his signature eye patch and gold chains, is famous for his 1989 platinum album, The Great Adventures of Slick Rick.

Rap duo Nice and Smooth, rose to fame in the early 90’s with their hit “Sometimes I Rhyme Slow.”

The Freedom Party began five years ago and prides itself on providing an unpretentious party-filled with fun and dancing. This year for its 5th Anniversary, the event promises to be a jam packed night of dancing, live performances and music from the world of hip hop, r&b, reggae and funk.
