Method Man Announces New Album; Still Signed To Def Jam
“I’m tired of n—as sleeping on the kid,” Method Man said. “They must be on dope or dog food. I’m not putting no [release] date on it. I’m four songs deep, but I just started. That’s good for me.”
The rapper also confirmed that he is still signed to Def Jam contrary to rumors that he had left the label.

Dont get me wrong I love Method Man but I cant lie that I am hoping his next album flops so people will stop blaming hov for his last album flopping. LOL

Meth better get it poppin this time around. He cant point the finger @ Jay, cuz Hov is no longer in the building. When the Wu 1st hit the streets, Meth was to the Wu, what Michael Jackson was to the Jackson 5. Initially he was the 1 that everybody looked @ as the stand-out. Meth needs to reach out and do some updated collabos with artist like Akon, 50 Cent, Keisha Cole, Kanye, etc. Its time that he branches out from the Redman thing, cuz we got plenty of that over the past decade. Meth need to get his manager and to the Def Jam office and meet wit the powers that be about that weak ass promotion they have been givin him…

Well now when he and the rest of the Def Jam wash ups drop and flop…………. who they gonna blame?
outside of Jay and Freeway album, the last good Def Jam release was Jeezy and Nas and that was a year ago…
Beanie album was trash, Meth album trash, Red album trash for him, LL album was the worst, and I’m tired of him crying, that nigga had promotion, for those 2 pop songs with J-Lo washed up ass and Lyfe and they sucked
