NOW THAT’S REAL TALK NY! These folks on here think that Lil’ Wayne is it which is why we have this constant turnarounds of one hit and one album wonders. Jay asked us the same thing years ago, “do you listen to lyrics or do you just skim through it?”. Gimmicks are the reason why REAL Rappers like Lil Brother, Kidz In The Hall, etc. get no light.

For all of YOU critics who have never wrote any lyrics, touched a microphone, endured having to be one of two men to pioneer into a not so forgiving music genre, I think that you need to take a second look at yourselves. Especially since most of you do not buy albums anyways. You claim to HATE this man when you can not honestly say that you took a good, hard listen to the music. As someone who has followed Joe’s career for over the last 14 years, he has grown dramatically. In fact, this track is one of the best that I have ever heard from him. Not to mention, for all of you Jay-Z fans, you would know that Jay-Z recognized Joe’s talent and even gave him some light on his first album release Reasonable Doubt. You kiss the ground the man walks on as if he was Hip Hop’s messiah. No question that he is one of the best, but acknowledge the fact that most of his rhymes have been borrowed from those he is influenced by: UGK, Biggie, and Snoop.

I will cop the album. all he does is get better each time out. his beats are gangster. On some real shit, his beats are not to be fucked with, he got a good ear for beats, cause every beat is always bananas.
I always fucked with joe, i go as far back as when he was giving out free flowjoe tapes down in the village. getting his name out there. the dude stay on his grind, gotta respect it.
