GOOD Music, has its Consequences!!! The Story Behind Good, Bad, Ugly…

This is one of the best verse from KanYe ever. For those of you who don’t know this was originally a track that supposed to be on, “The College Dropout.” Due to sample clearance it didn’t make the album on time. Just like many of the songs he made at the time, he was continually denied sample’s. ie, All Falls Down, School Spirit.

KanYe gave it to Consequence. This was the hottest song on his album. This video was originally shot during 2004. If you watch KanYe West first ever MTV Diary. He directs this video. After all that work sample clearance has had to be obtained for consequence and once again it was held up.

4 years later, the song and video are now both released and it was worth the wait.

yea i heard this when my girl bought the college dropout bootleg. that joint maybe start buying bootlegs and originals to get more exclusive shit.

“she said i aint boning you wit those two long shoes/ then she got bougie in a grey poupon mood/ so i’ma act cheap in a coupon mood”–
that nigga is a fool
why nobody dissing kanye cuz john legend and common get plenty of love off of good music. but consequense aint really get no promotion for his album last year.

This IS ONE OF THE RAWEST KANYE TRACKS EVA!!! It was on the College Dropout Mixtape (which I still have btw). Everybody spit CRAZZZZZEEEE on here. Why were jus now seein’ a video 4 dis shit I have no idea.

On the real, Kanye need 2 come out w/ an album wit Consequence and GLC cuz all there songs 2GETHER have been cold as maphucka! Plus it would help them niggas careers out tremendously (sans Ye).

yeah, joint is wild old; i had it on Louis Vuitton don mixtape, back when Kanye used to come by the spot to schlep his stuff and didn’t have a deal. but I digress…
killer joint. Shame Cons album didn’t get any love. That’s 3 str8 bangers from his album. Columbia records couldn’t break an urban/ hip hop artist if their lives depended on it. Let’s see: They had and lost Alicia Keys, 50 Cent, Consequence, Nas, and countless others> oh wait, destiny’s child and bob wow. Ok, so 2 out of 20. lol

THIS JUST SHOWS YOU THAT GOOD HIP HOP WITHSTANDS THE TIME… THIS TRACK, AS PREVIOUSLY STATED IS EASILY FOUR YEARS OLD. AND IT’S ON A FEW MIXTAPES AND CON’S ALBUM DON’T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB. BUT EVEN AFTER LISTENING TO THIS IN HIGH SCHOOL, AND NOW BEING A PRODUCER MYSELF, THIS TRACK IS STILL FRESH LIKE IT GOT MADE YESTERDAY… FLOWS AND BEAT. HIP HOP WILL NEVER DIE.
