NBC wanted more seasons but Will was blowing up at the time so he left. We should be lucky, Will was wanting to leave Fresh Prince after season 4 but fan response got him to do 2 more seasons.

Remember when Will and the fam went to Philly, that was supposed to be the series finale. They did some cheesy but hilarious way to get him back in Bel Air for Season 5 when an NBC exec kidnapped Will and threw him into the “Star Retrival” van. Hilarious show!
