Stop The Madness: SMH @ A 29 Year Old Grandmother
Leticia is a grandmother at 29. She was 13 – a seventh-grader – and living in Chicago when she gave birth to her oldest child. Now she has four: Celia; 9-year-old Romeo Johnson, 4-year-old Ramone Johnson and 1-year-old Romello Johnson. She always urged Celia to tell her if she was having sex so she could arrange birth control for her. But when Celia did tell her, it was too late. They found out during a doctor’s appointment that she was already pregnant.
Damn, I hate seeing kids having babies. These young people can’t even take care of themselves, how can they take care of a child? I just hope the kids turn out alright and don’t become criminals or have children at a young age.

Ive always said in the hood which so many of you glorify,you cant even date anymore.Girls are having kids at 13 so they are out of the courting scene.Its funny one time I was invited to a family hood cookout and I saw four generations of chickenheads.Great grandma chickenhead,grandma chickenhead,moma chickenhead and little 11 year old chickenhead all with their male “friend” never a husband or my man just a bunch of friends you get money from and use for stuff.

Damn can you atleast wait till you get outta middle school to get it in?? By the statements made in the interview it sounds like a downward trend. She doesn’t realize the responsibility and we (working citizens) are forced to pay for her and all these damn kids! She just wants to spend a welfare check to go to the mall and get her and the baby fresh. Sell da food stamps for half and half to get extra cash from those who work and really need the extra food to pay her $60.00 rent on a section 8 house. Y’all said what I wanted to say. I don’t even feel sad, we live in America and we have resources to know about sex,pregnancy,stds. So I feel like it’s no excuse for that ‘girl’ to get pregnant at 9, and let alone having sex at 9. This is crazy but it happens everyday. Dam, I just started having sex and I’m 19. If little kids want to have sex or matter of fact, if anyone wants to have sex. Know that is it more than sex, there is consquences w/ everything you do. Daaaaaaaaamn! And I’m out.

When I was about 12, I looked older than my age. Looked like I could be in highschool and older boys would try to get at me and I would tell them “no I’m only 12″ and you know they don’t care, they would try to continue to pursue me! IT’s so sad

I never thought it was feasible, but I guess nothing is impossible now adays. WHAT THE FUCK is a 9 year old doing having sex anyway. I dont think I was even thinking about sex til at least 14-15 much less doing it. That is crazy. That’s when kids dont have nothing constructive to do. They have sex and smoke weed. Vicious cycle man

i was struggling to understand this, the pregnant lil girl isnt 9 years old. the first born son is 9, then the second son, then the third. they didnt list the girl age, just her name. but the math says shes like 16. she was 13 when she gave birth now she 29 and she a grandmother
