Mayweather has been in the gym since at least 1977. Hatton was drinking beer walking around at 180 last year sometime if I’m not mistaken. Floyd stays in tip-top shape . . all the time. Dedicated to the sport. People don’t realize how hard he trains and loves boxing. Naturally he knows more about boxing than most of the guys older than he is right now. He doesn’t have to fight anymore at all. He can do the same thing De La Hoya is doing. Boxing needs him…he doesn’t need boxing anymore. . . .

Last week, Hatton was the monster that would slay Floyd…Hatton was blown out of the water and now people are saying that Floyd is ducking Cotto? He retired after De La Hoya…why not after the money he made with his PPV $$$….I haven’t even checked the numbers to see if it outsold the last fight. I think it did.

Who cares who has more fans? Floyd is the best boxer in the world. It’s not a popularity contest. It’s BOXING and Floyd is an amazing boxer and will go down as an all time great. Hatton is a good fighter but he’s not a legend. If you think being popular makes you a legend then Arturo Gatti is also a legend. It’s what you do IN THE RING.
