Michael Vick Gets 23 Months In Jail
Quarterback Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in prison for plotting to run an interstate dogfighting ring.
U.S. District Court Judge Henry Hudson today gave the suspended National Football League player less than half the maximum five-year penalty for his role in buying, training and killing dogs while funding gambling on fights held on his property in Surry County, Virginia.
Vick also received three years probation.
Damn homey, you could of been spending those 23 months in your mansion and spending millions, smh.

According to the New York Times, the case where Jacob would’ve gotten the 15 was for money laundering. It got dropped because he pleaded guilty to lying to the feds about the BMF and lying on records. The case where he lied to the feds and on records is where the 46 months comes from.

The Law is the law but it’s crazy how white people love animals. It’s highly unlikely Vick will be out in a year due to the fact that on a 23 month sentence he really only has to serve around 19 months due to the good conduct credit time off that he gets. He also has to be designated to an insitution, be deemed RDAP eligible, and then wait for a spot in an RDAP class. All that takes time. He may not even start a program for 2-3 months as the classes are usually booked up months in advance. So, by the time he hits an RDAP yard, he’ll be down to 16 months left, then the BOP will credit him for the month he’s already been in. The program itself takes 9 months to complete, that leaves 7 months, and he has to spend 6 months in custody at a halfway house as a program requirement. So maybe he’ll get all of a month off. BIG DEAL!
