realtalk, i got a question for Lupe….how come when he first came out he was on that skater-boy geek shit…(this dude clearly grew up in the suburbs) and he’s one of those steve-urkel type niggaz…but what i wanna know is, what hit him in the head so harrd that all the sudden this year he goes out in interviews saying shit like ”I used to carry tech 9’s ”……nobody believes that crap, talking about he’s strapped. i dont believe any of his shit

to vigorous: Lupe Grew up in the hood actually. He doesnt really talk about him carrying guns in the songs at all. everyone knows hes not on that shit. You forgot that this is a concept album with stories about charachters and the people with the guns are the charachters hes talkign about. Hes sort of doing it in a first person theme.
