Lupe Fiasco Sells 143k & R&B Is Making A Killing
The Cool moved 143,000 units in it’s first week. Lupe’s first album, “Food & Liquor,” got leaked and only managed to sell around 80,000. I think this is a solid debut and a lot of people are sleeping on this album. R&B seems to be killing it with Mary J Blige selling 629k, Alicia Keys selling 473k, Chris Brown selling 176k & Jaheim selling 175k. Damn did Jaheim even have any promo? Bow Wow & Omarion’s, “Faceoff,” moved another 83k. Chingy managed 31k, he will need a banging second single.
I guess it’s safe that rap fans are most likely to download and then not buy…

We still really don’t respect the real average blackman though who goes out and works hard (legally) to achieve somethin in life.
