You think Graduation is blacker than The College Dropout?
Way blacker. “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” — how hood is that record? “Good Life” is straight Steve Harvey, all day long. “Flashing Lights”? I never had a record that was that black. But it’s white at the same time. Certain things are so good it doesn’t have to be white or black. That’s what Graduation is. Take “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.” It’s a white sample, but everything I do to it is to make it as black as possible. So I’ma make the bass as black as possible; I’ma make the lyrics as intense as possible.
The Graduation is, “blacker,” than, “The College Dropout?” I’m not down with this whole, “blacker,” talk but I would have to say, “The College Dropout,” would be considered, “blacker.”

I take it that Kanye is feeling better because he is back to shit talking- its nice to hear him coming back around.
Kanye is different he is always entertaining in interviews and if you ask him the right question he will reveal so much about himself, all for the shock value of course.. His music is entertaining he talks some real shit. It doesn’t matter if he uses a black beat with black meaning or white beat with white meaning he is still at the TOP of his game with a message in one way or another. makes me laugh and say wonder what he really thinks.

i think the whole point of this interview was to further let it be known that his last album was his whitest aka most commercial album. late registration was a blacker album, ex: crack music. theres nothin like that on graduation. and everybody knows college dropout was blacker. thru the wire by itself was blacker than this album
