For Ms. Blige “Growing Pains” is her latest step toward positive thinking. Some listeners, she said, have preferred hearing her struggle through her triumphs. When she released “No More Drama, “a lot of the fans were like: ‘Mmm, no. I liked Mary better when she was singing them sad, sad songs,’” she said. “Well, I can’t really do that right now because I’m trying to get my head together. And a lot of my fans went and a lot of them disappeared. But where they disappeared, a whole two million, three million more showed up. Because there’s more people that want to be free than people that want to be trapped.”

I prefer both. But I commend her on saving herself because she was indeed on a self-destructive path. But I like the new positive Mary…its called Evolution. Now if you doing the same shit you was doing when you was twenty and you pushing 30 and up…you got a serious problem.
