I have to agree that the lyrical content of the song could have been better but, his word play was on point.. Fab had me, then he lost me, then he had me and lost me.. I think his vocals were smooth over the beat but when he stated he would fuck the girls friend I thought same shit every body else does. I want different from FAB if he changed it up he could definitely be a great one. So, all in all I have to give him props for the attempt…

He does need to expand his freestyle catalog..

Giving props where props is due, the dude Fab been doing his thing on the mixtape freestyle. where yall been?yall talking about freestyle catalog, I say this cause dude deserves credit for what he do, he just get pigeonholed by his albums, he been consistent on dem DJ Clue mixtapes since who knows when and on other people’s shit on the strength and I’m sayin this mixtape freestyle wise. Now on to the truth of it. Fab is the next in line after Jay. Period. Lil Wayne fans please take note. If fab bosses up a lil more, and yes I agree with some of the things said, i.e. his content is lacking somewhat, he can be the next one. However Fab is a time tested, proven lyrical beast!!!! It ain’t too many in his echelon. And “What should I Do” on his album “From Nothing to Something” is substance if nothing else. Plain and simple, If you feel that strongly about him……STOP LISTENING!!!!!

I also agree with shine95 but at the same time disagree, the “This is freestyle material and this is album material” is flawed and is a product of the modern hip-hop system just like “the club song” “the song for the ladies” and “the hood song” everybody needs to just make music. Don’t tailor to the format! Its sad that I listen to an album and a song is so out of place because the artist was forced to make that “radio song” and it just is so synthetic. It all falls back on the fans though. All these habitual complainers and critics are the same ones buyin bootlegs or no albums at all.
Oh one more thing fans are fickle as hell cuz Joe Budden gave all sides of Hip-hop and look what it got him? Talk about substance? This dude has it by the barrel. Just,…somebody tell him to stop fuckin with THE PRESIDENT!!!!
