that is one of the dopest tracks i have heard in a looooooooong minute. large professor been one of my favorites since Main Source(go study up young’uns)
yo realtalk – throw up some “main source” as a throwback!!!!!!!!
that’s that shit I miss right there. more of that gutta shit right there.heard this shit on audio only. more of this will make more of the youngins understand why we promotin that swagger and that flow. undeniable shit. got that right. I ain’t heard a joint like this get respect in a minute. somebody was puttin the audio of this on youtube and it was gettin respected responses. more guttta shit please. shit like this will help bring New york back if the industry ( the matrix) still have an ear to listen.and It’s not about new york or only New York, it’s just bringing shit like this back. get inspired kids . write them rhymes cause I’m pretty sure the real heads are vibin to this shit right now…………….
Yo this shit been out since the summer where ya been @. For 1 this shit is hard & still hasn’t lost that first time you hear it like damn this shit is hot. Ya’ll know styles p. is fire, but AZ been doing his shit since ‘94. Uncut Raw
I remember them days when everyone used to diss Nas and AZ and Jay-Z and Big for what they was doing for New York. remember them “keep it real days” where they wasn’t haven’t it with the versace and The Firm lookin like how they was lookin. come to find out now everybody know that was the ill shit. I remember when peoples was baggin on az’s 2nd album which was one of my personal favorites. “Sosa”, ” I’m Known” where they had Pacino with the Donnie Brasco sample ” I’m known all over the 5 Boroughs I’m Known” but Noo Trybe/Virgin didn’t clear that sample, so when you hear that on the actual CD it’s silent on the 2nd Cut of Pieces of a Man( that version was the version) the actual pressed up album cut was empty without it but still had that beat. people thought that album got watered down but it’s because of a bad record deal and he was hittin off Nas and them his joints for The Firm album. peoples was thinkin A and Jay and Nas and Big and them were sellin out with the material shit when really the game was just growing…………….cmon you had shit for everybody when u listen to they albums. it was artistry mixed with being a rapper at the same time. can’t knockem, they rappers. if they was just mc’s they wouldn’t be in the business in the first place.
OFFF THE CHAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIINN on the real I haven’t heard shit this real in a loooooong time. I love the originality of the video and Az came of like Jay used to be back in in my lifetime vol 1 times, and he’s a Brooklyn nigga, DAMN.
PLEASE if any record execs are reading this, GIVE US MORE REEEEAAALLL RAP, by that I mean, NEW YORK RAP, NEW YORK RAP, NEW YORK RAP, FUCKERS!
AZ is the truth, i have all this niggas CDs. I think he’s 1 of the most underrated rappers. (thats just me i might be getting old). i see he got a lil chubby, but this is a good look.
That’s wat i’m talkin bout. The Large Professor is responsible for the majority of the second Golden Of Hip-Hop(except for Wu). He influenced alot of your favorite producers (check the history and the facts).
vigorous, explain how the fuck he fell off? I got a new name for some of these people that don’t back they opinions up. plastic critics. u know the type that say a negative opinion cause they sound like they know what they talkin about. but they don’t really know what the fuck they talkin about. This ain’t even AZ’s song and it’s usual nice az shit to me and it’s a verse. he always stay chiseled like that.cmon now.. I ain’t even gonna knock ya if you young dude it’s cool
