LOL @ OLD MAN COOL J.

Look, everyone knows your past. We all know you’re a legend of sorts. You were there at the begining at the young age of 16. You’ve had a TV show. You are into your body and licking your lips.

Ok.

Now what? What do you have to offer a completely different generation than the one you first catered to in your prime.

You can blame Jay for not promoting you or your albums. But guess what old man, it’s a young man’s game and you do not sell, period.

Someone who is supposed to be a star, as you believe you still are, should not need the promotional money you are starving for.

That money is better off spent on Rhianna, at least she’d make some $$ for the company.

..and oh yeah, First b*tches!

How about LL wasn’t selling albums before Jay was at Def Jam. Why is he lying acting like Jay-Z is holding him back? Also, when is he going to stop telling us the same damn thing?

This dude admitted to releasing bad albums so what did he expect sales wise. His loyal fans and hip hop fans were mad dissapointed with some of his albums we all know he caters for ladies but back in the day he had great balance but the Lopez song was wack and there was no coming back from that.

As for the other artist that complain maybe their argument is right but you cant blame Hov only. you have to work together, these artist bring a single to him that is worth promoting Ghostface album is a classic but I cant picture a song that would help the album push units and that is the same with alot of artist on the label, jeezy, Luda, Hov, Kanye get the balance right they cater to both that is why it may seem that they get more of a push cus the have a fucking single that is actually capable of creating some buzz.

50 is a great example he never blamed his label when amusement park flopped he went and released I get money. Sometimes the artist have to use their initiative.

my drink and my 2step remix

even the knicks had to let patrick ewing go when it was all said and done. did he get mad? no he finished his career like a champ (wit no rings) and he still gets a standing ovation everytime he comes to the garden. LL time to recieve your standing ovation and raise that jersey to the rafters. its been real

Posting # 5 and # 7 made great points and that is the reality of the situation.
