the truth is this album will probably go platinum and do good BUT the other truth is BOW WOW IS IRRELEVANT to hip-hop…everybody still sees him as a kiddy rapper and will continue too…its funny b.c lil wayne came out around 17 and was spittin that hard shit..what is also funny is that although Omarion and Chris Brown have that large young fanbase they still get respect from the older audience because of their talent…but Bow Wow too cocky so u gets no luv (like a mini-kanye)

All this talk about him trying to be hood because he seems to have some anger issues? A black man with some anger and all of a sudden people say he’s trying to be hood? Having plenty of tats is not a sign of a man trying to be hood. I’ve never heard Bow Wow claim he’s from the hood or Am I missing something here? I’m not a big fan of Bow Wow but I do think he’s a lot better than many rappers in the industry and as long as he stays focus on his music I think he can develop into a very good artist in the future. Remember the brotha is only 20 years old. Of course Bow Wow will not sell as many records as he used to but that has more to do with the fact that a lot of people don’t buy music anymore. Whether we like Bow or not If Bow and O’s album do really well then it’s good for hiphop. We need as many mainstream hiphop albums as possible out there.

I usally do not respond to post but felt I had to.
Let’s see who sold more albums and has more respect:

Bow Wow 1st Album: Triple Platinum
Bow Wow 2nd Album: Double Platinum
Bow Wow 3rd Album: Double Platinum (Actually the album only sold a little more than 700,000 copies so it’s Gold)
Bow Wow 4th Album: Gold
Bow Wow 5th Album: Platinum (That’s a lie. It only sold alittle over 500,000 therefore making it Gold)
“Face Off” with Omarion only sold 100,000 in it’s first week and dubeted at number 11 on the Billboard’s Top 200. Which is pathetic.
He only sold 6,7000,000 which is a joke compared to what other rappers sell. I still must give it up to him as he sold more than Lil’ Wayne. But there’s no comparision as artists like 2pac(0ver 72 million albums sold), Biggie (over 14 million albums sold in the U.S.)and even Nas who has more street creditablity than mainstream media success sold more than him. I won’t even compare Outkast to him. because they have respect mainstream and in the streets. One of their albums (Speaker Boxxx/The Love Below)went Diamond, being one of the four only Hip Hop albums to sell over 10,000,000 albums. He will never become a legendary rapper (most rappers today may never be, but have potential to be) or atleast a respectable rapper. Yes he has talent to rap, but he cannot write rap songs or freestyle. He should just be a bussiness man or actor.

Atleast Romeo quit rapping because he it was over for him and went on to act, is going to College and is now playing on a College Basket ball team. All Bow does is disrespect his ‘peirs’ (musical supririors) to remain mainstream. Any rapper will get my respect but not him. I only respect his money and I think he should give up rapping and go into business may be then this idiot will find respect. The only reasons he’s still relevant is Omarion, Ciara and Chris Brown.
