Sports Report: Arenas Out 3 Months, Knicks Are Looking A Mess
Shocking news in Washington D.C., star point guard Gilbert Arenas will be out at least 3 months after a surprise surgery. This is unfortunate for Arenas, who missed the end of last season due to injury as well. This puts the Wizard’s playoff hopes in serious danger. Full Story
A recap of the NBA 07-08 season thus far below…
So far the East has been dominated by the Magic(10-2), Celtics(8-1), while in the West the Suns(9-2), Spurs(9-2) & Mavs(8-2) are in control. The Celtics look to be a major problem with Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen & Paul Pierce starting. They are one of the very teams in the East that could compete in the Finals.
The Knicks are a mess with a record of 2 wins and 8 losses. I thought the new squad would make some moves, but drama with Marbury has the team in disarray. The Heat have the same record but hope to do better with Dwayne Wade back in the lineup.
Top 5 Scorers
Lebron James – 29.6
Kobe Bryant – 26.9
Tracy McGrady – 26.8
Kevin Martin – 26.2
Carmelo Anthony – 25.5
Can Lebron bring in a scoring title over Kobe this year?

The NBA is definitely on point this year…the west is competitive as always, and now the east in getting there..What i like about the NBA this year is that there are so many storylines..Knicks playing like shit is comical to me and Miami too, Kobe trade talks (which i think will not happen due to the fact that i know there going to get more players around kobe, why trade the best player in the world..prediction – Bibby when he gets healthy to the Lakers…i can see it now), Dwight Howard turning his team into playoff contenders, Kevin Durant getting pushed around b/c his lack of strength

The celts don’t have the east wrapped up yet. The favorite from the east isn’t as dominant as the favorite from the west. Detroit, and Orlando off top can give the celts a prob in a 7 game series!
