R.I.P. Sean Taylor (Update)
Washington Redskins star defender Sean Taylor died early Tuesday morning after being shot Monday by intruders at his home in Miami, the National Football League club announced Tuesday. he 24-year-old safety died in a Florida hospital where he underwent nearly seven hours of emergency surgery Monday to repair a severed femoral artery, the team confirmed in a website statement.
Damn I’m noticing the wolves are really out this time of year. My condolences to his family and damn he was only 24.

Miami-Dade detectives have detained at least three people in Lee County for questioning in the death of Washington Redskins football star Sean Taylor.
Investigators believe the young men learned of Taylor’s house through someone who unwittingly set up the burglary by bragging about the football star’s wealth.
The suspects include a teenager and two men in their 20s who hail from the Fort Myers area.

His house got burglarized 2 weeks prier to this. Him and his girl were in bed when they heard noises downstairs, and S T grabbed a machete from under the bed and went to the door and as soon as he did that the intruder broke down the door. The intruder shot at him twice and one hit him in his thigh and hit the femoral artery and the other hit the wall. This was all going on while his infant daughter was sleeping in her crib in his bedroom.

The femoral artery is the biggest artery in the body, it is as big as big as your index finger. Also they stated that during the surgery he flat lined 3 times. Right now he is still in the I.C.U he was unconscious and not responding but in the past 2 hours they stated he squeezed someones hand who was visiting him and made a face when asked. Still in critical condition so keep him in your prayers.

When we 1st heard that he got robbed and shot in the leg we snuffed it off and said he will be ok and kept partying that night. we was bummed out that he couldn’t come out to Annappolis and party wih us but we figured he would be ok. It was the next morning on X-mas day that we learned about that major artery in our legs.
