ds

THE MAN SPEAKS THE TRUTH, the black community needs to take responsibility for all the black on black violence going on. You can blame, “The Man,” cops, etc. but we are killing each other. Like Deion Sanders says, how many white players are being robbed and murdered?

Its violence everywhere, I agree black people need to be more responsible and stop hatin on each other to the point where we wanna kill a nigga. But how likely is that? White athletes rarely get robbed and murdered cause for the most part they dont grow up going to the same schools or living on the same block as the local drug dealers and gang bangers. We need to get some real assistance from authority figures in our areas. It shouldnt take cops more than half an hour to show up to a crime scene depending on the zip code. Let brittney spears get killed or jay cutler. Police would be all over that shit.

Pac, Big, Sean Taylor and plenty more im sure, still no arrest in these murders. I rarely play the race card but think about it like this, if the president of the country wont get water to niggas sitting on top of roofs begging for help during the countries biggest storm…what motivation do the local state police have to find a killer for a rapper or football player.

Anyway I agree with Primetime but all he did is say the same thing whitlock did but delivered it in a different package lol.

White players dont get robbed and murdered at the rate that black players do cause they smart enought not be living in the same poor ass neighborhood that they used to. Yo, when you move up you really got to move up, and sometimes that means cutting ties with people that you KNOW are no good. People are either really stupid or naive to think that nothing has changed and they can still “keep it real” and hang out with the same crowds. Like the saying goes, people who aint going nowhere will wanna take on a trip with them. They will bring you down. Look at Mick Vick, or T.I. and now this Sean Taylor dude. If you got the money, SPEND IT and get a good security system, or at least a GUN…How this nigga gonna try and scare a robber with a machete.

#8 his name is darrent williams
he was a cornerback for the denver broncos who was murdered this year on new years day gettin into his limo after a party, he was 23 i think.

i have no problem wit chalkin this up to black on black ignorance, not really hiphop, but ignorance. its a shame young men gotta die for us to see. but those of us who dont see will never see, hopeless is the word.

and the cops wont care much probably because everybody in black community is assumed to have this “no snitching” mentality and ask any white person, cops come when they call cuz they give cops help in catching the criminal. if we call the cops and slam the door in they face, they wont care if we die. “no snitching” is a g-code, not a family man code.

good point #10 about the no snitching. I think no snitching should just apply to niggas involved in the game. If me and you doing dirt together we both know the repercussions and when one gets caught should snitch on the other.

But cops are paid to investigate crimes, Chris Roc said it best. How was Pac shot at midnight in Las Vegas where no one sleeps, on the biggest strip in the country, the night of a Tyson fight, and no body saw shit lol.

Sean Taylor died in his house sleep with his girlfriend and daughter. For some reason hip hop and thugs is always in the conversation with his death.

Hey im not sayin hip-hop is too blame for Sean Taylor’s murder because it shouldn’t be. But we have to understand why hip-hop is always the blame. First off black people need to stop defending hip-hop cuz the image it protrayz is awful and every time a person tries to defend hip- hop they bring up the same rappers; common, mos def, talib, nas, etc….. out of all the rappers in the game we can only name like 5 or 7 rappers who has a clean image…..wow) The image that hip-hop protrayz is terrible and the kidz from the “HOOD” are lookin up to these rappers and they want to live there life- style. Hip hop is the most influential thing in our community whether its fashion, swagger, hood codes, slang, and all tat shit hip-hop teaches you. Anywayz we have to take responsibility and say some of this music is straight up garbage. If you’re a listener of rap you must understand this is entertainment and it’s not 4real, but these rappers want you to believe wat there are spittin is real… I love hip-hop and I understand the effects it has on me and I kno hip-hop is very influential but im not gonna listen to uncle murder and start shootin niggaz I don’t like….

realtalk king the police jus really ain’t on their job so to tell them info is a waste. I had repeated break ins on my property and instead of doin what I instinctively though I tried to play the game right. them folks were called 3 times only showed 2 never took any finger prints or anything (not even out of a running car perps tried to steal) and then they didn’t want the bike they rode in on either!?

So whats a MAN to do?

granted this is high profile… but if all the other sh!t gets dealt with wrong why approach jus because this is high profile when them folks don’t care about the other sh!t … like your loved ones who happen to not have the name or finances of Sean Taylor… r.i.p.!

#8, Darrent Williams was at Kenyon Martin’s birthday party after the last game of the season and they drove by on the limo that he and Javon Walker were in. Walker was fortunate enough to come out unscathed but Williams caught one in his neck that killed him.
