This is one of the many hip-hop is dead. Cats now think they can just put out 3 or 4 albums and say they are done. You think great rappers just put 3 records then say im great im done. NO they keep putting the hits out for example, Jay-Z (10+ albums), Scarface (11 albums). I feel you commit to hip-hop to should keep speaking till you cant.

Co-sign # 8. Lupe could dumb down his lyrics till the end of time and he STILL won’t sell!!!! It ain’t about dumbing down lyrics and I am tired of conscious rap listeners using that excuse. We understand them, we just don’t give a fuck??? I have had my conscious friends tryin to get me to make the switch for 12 years now. We just don’t care!! Why you may ask, because there is nothing ENTERTAINING about conscious rappers and conscious music. Very few have found a way to make it entertaining. Common just finally found his nitch after like 16 years??? Kanye…entertaining and catchy, Jay-z….entertaining and catchy…..Lupe Fiasco….Should have skateboarded his silly lookin’ self off the cliff in the “Touch the Sky” video!!!!

NT ways,I like Bucks version of “Superstar” better and it’s not because he is G-Unit. Buck should have got to the beat first so he could release it as the first single off his album though. Who knows, maybe he still will….
