Damon Dash Says, "Big Brother," Was A Diss On The Low
“It sounds like a sneak dis record to me. You gotta understand certain things about Kanye; he doesn’t go at things like the average person does,” Dash tells BET.com. “I feel like if he has something to say, he has to pose it in that way or he can’t communicate it at all. And that was the only way he could express why he doesn’t understand why he’s treated that way.”
Later in the article he says he would of choked Kanye for making a song like this for him LOL. Jay-Z & Kanye must be shaking their heads.

“I’m laughing all the way to the top/
200 million in cash,35 million in stock”-Jay
I’d be mad as hell too once I realise that for one I can’t make another Hov and two I got way outhustled after running around all this time thinking that I was the ultimate hustler.

November 7th, 2007 at 3:00 am

November 7th, 2007 at 5:58 am
I happend to catch backstage the other day and there is a part where Dame says ” its a thin line between being backstage or being in the audience. We see that he’s crossed it and its over. Dame get ur hustle on elsewhere, I would teell every interview person that I won’t comment on anything ROC related.
November 7th, 2007 at 6:07 am
Co Sign #9. LOL
Jay-Z took everything from Dame Dash and imo made Roc-A-Fella & Rocawear better you only have to look at the figures. It proves that Jay-Z had alot of say in the business side cus everyone that says he was just a rapper and Dame was the business, look at what has happened since they split Jay-Z making bigger moves than Dame Dash and he still the king of rap.
November 7th, 2007 at 6:12 am
i disagree with all of yall. dame believed and stood behind both of them when everyone else didn’t and when they didn’t need him any more they shited on him
November 7th, 2007 at 6:41 am

November 7th, 2007 at 7:45 am
@ 13, Both Dame and Jay, didn’t believe Kanye would be the artist he became, they both said he could rap, but wasn’t sure he could make hits while rapping. They both knew they had a genius when it came to the beats, I didn’t want to lose him by not giving him a deal. The deal was to keep him close, not because I felt he could make a banging album.
Apparently Dmae didn’t listen to this line:
“An idol in my eyes, god of the game, heart of the city, rocafella chain, never be the same, never be another, #1 Yung Hov also my big brother”
I see Dame somewhere in his office curled up in a corner singing:
“I got this ice box where my heart used to be”
November 7th, 2007 at 8:11 am

November 7th, 2007 at 9:23 am
Dame’s a lame, but I agree with him on this one. But what really makes Dame lame is that Jay already knew that it was a subliminal diss too that’s why in every interview he explained how it was Kanye’s truth and gave the accurate accounts – which had Kanye looking like a hater in the end. Jay’s a smart dude – he took what Kanye, Dame, Weezy, Dipshits and every other hater of his – he took Kanye’s “Big Brother” and made it work in his favor. Yeah, Kanye put that out there like the Bitch that he is, but Jay took all the shine out of Big Brother by accepting the record and bigging it up.
HOV’S THE GREATEST – COP THAT AMERICAN GANGSTER TO HOV CAN BREAK ELVIS’ RECORD!!!!
November 7th, 2007 at 9:39 am
it was a diss recorded!!!! why is he actin like he mad an discoveryy nd interpid this some type of way that nobody else didnt, [it was a diss underlined diss to everyone] dere was some antomosityy or sum bad blood dere nd ye was jus tellin his side. he was kinda sayin ii respect you hov ur still the boss nd the person who cuts my check but why you frontedd on me (in laymens terms) but did you hear hovs come back kid brother??? November 7th, 2007 at 10:00 am
I know he was probably just answering a question but all that choke shit. Come on who ever thought Dame was tough? Give it up dude, i hope he not banking on Cam and Jimmy. Keep doin movies and shit. He already said he not in the music industry anymore so stop speaking on it
November 7th, 2007 at 10:15 am
This nigga & Jim Jones are obssesed with Jay & Dame only has hisself to blame for what Jay did to him…. here’s what I believe led to jay sending dat nigga off… Dame & Cam were at Hot 97 radio station anouncing that Cam was the new president of the ROC while Jay was on vacation. jay came back from vacation & everyone was asking him about it & he knew nothing about it. He went on to say it’s unofficial at this time and Cam never became president. I think he felt like that they were trying to take over the label so he ousted them niggas & now they obssesed with him………..
November 7th, 2007 at 10:16 am
dame sold rocawear for 20 million and jay z sold rocawear for 200 million…..WOW! on some real sh*t if i was dame i’d be bitter…how da fuk you gonna give me 10% on a company we were 50-50 on…but then again i dont know the REAL story true ins and outs…..i shouldnt even be posting -real talk-

Daame!!
Man. Stop. Ur a HipHop Icon, reducing yourself to making petty statements and doing corny things.
November 7th, 2007 at 11:29 am
if there was one thing i thought about dame it was atleast that he knew his music. but i can listen to big brother and clearly see the sibling rivalry, u can see it in the growth in kanye’s lyrical flow over his 3 albums. the best and really only way kanye could’ve adressed his feelings about jay shittin on him, was to make the track. that shows why dame is where he is, and jay is where he is. dame said he woulda choked kanye for that, jayz went to the media and applauded kanye and said it was almost the best song he ever made. so basically who would want to work for dame, who would be mad enuff to choke u out for that song, i’d rather work for jayz-i could get that shit off my chest witout losing my fuckin job or spot on the hottest label in the game. dame burns bridges, jay builds them. money talks
November 7th, 2007 at 11:35 am
