Damon Dash Says, "Big Brother," Was A Diss On The Low
“It sounds like a sneak dis record to me. You gotta understand certain things about Kanye; he doesn’t go at things like the average person does,” Dash tells BET.com. “I feel like if he has something to say, he has to pose it in that way or he can’t communicate it at all. And that was the only way he could express why he doesn’t understand why he’s treated that way.”
Later in the article he says he would of choked Kanye for making a song like this for him LOL. Jay-Z & Kanye must be shaking their heads.

@ 13, Both Dame and Jay, didn’t believe Kanye would be the artist he became, they both said he could rap, but wasn’t sure he could make hits while rapping. They both knew they had a genius when it came to the beats, I didn’t want to lose him by not giving him a deal. The deal was to keep him close, not because I felt he could make a banging album.

Dame’s a lame, but I agree with him on this one. But what really makes Dame lame is that Jay already knew that it was a subliminal diss too that’s why in every interview he explained how it was Kanye’s truth and gave the accurate accounts – which had Kanye looking like a hater in the end. Jay’s a smart dude – he took what Kanye, Dame, Weezy, Dipshits and every other hater of his – he took Kanye’s “Big Brother” and made it work in his favor. He went on to say it’s unofficial at this time and Cam never became president. if there was one thing i thought about dame it was atleast that he knew his music. but i can listen to big brother and clearly see the sibling rivalry, u can see it in the growth in kanye’s lyrical flow over his 3 albums. the best and really only way kanye could’ve adressed his feelings about jay shittin on him, was to make the track. that shows why dame is where he is, and jay is where he is. dame said he woulda choked kanye for that, jayz went to the media and applauded kanye and said it was almost the best song he ever made. so basically who would want to work for dame, who would be mad enuff to choke u out for that song, i’d rather work for jayz-i could get that shit off my chest witout losing my fuckin job or spot on the hottest label in the game. dame burns bridges, jay builds them. money talks
