I put 3000 in the top 5, but this isn’t his best verse.

OutKast works because of the both of them. Big Boi is dope in his own right and they are the example of yin and yang. I’ve never looked at one being better than the other, but if I had to, in this one he had a better verse overall than dre. With that being said, I think any “ok” Andre verse is much better than most of the garbage that’s out now. Lil Wayne shouldn’t be in the same sentence (and yes I have heard ALL of his tracks!) The Drought 3 was his best to me and even that got boring, it’s not fresh. Nobody can do what OutKast does, so if you front on 3000 you’re frontin on hip hop PERIOD!

first off, anyone who fronts on dre has no clue…and “found hip hop in the gift shop”

second…I can’t believe you people argue over who is better in the south…there are many that are great at what they do…Scarface is a legend but he never gets mentioned cuz lyrically he’s not on the same page as some of these emcees…wayne’s strength is his delivery, but here’s what’s funny to me (my opinion!), andre has been doing it better and longer!! how can you front on that??

also I’d like to say whoever it was that mention Black Thought…THANK YOU!! That fool is so slept on…newbies need to go listen to “75 Bars” since it’s relevant…I’ve never seen anybody with more stamina and mic control period.

and to the cats talkin about em like he’s been makin us wait…hahahahahaha! ever think for a second he might have his own real life issues to deal with (besides the death of his hip hop brother who guided him into rippin the mic you love so much)

First off, anyone who even compares Lil’ Wayne to Andre3000 is not a true hip hop head. Wayne is a total joke. He’d be nothing without Gillie Da Kid. 99.9% of Wayne’s ish is straight garbage, give me some REAL hip-hop…. Outkast’s been doin it since ya’ll was in diapers for real. Andre3k and Big Boi will ALWAYS be a force to be reckoned with, they’ve been so versatile over the years yet remained true to the art of real hip hop. it’s not a takeover, it’s a makeover.

On the real though, Wayne can’t touch him. Yes he does have a nice flow, and he can make up words that don’t exist in the english dictionary. but with lyrics like:
“got old school bitches and new school hoes female basketball players with cornroles”

now look at the lyrics with Dre:

WHAT artist do you know that can pluck that out of their own mind?

I just took 2 random songs on my list n mind you, i listened to both these cats.
There are pros for Wayne
- unique-ish flow

pros for Dre
- lyrically a monster
- ridiculous style/flow
- a survivor (how many cats back from 93′ still bringing out tracks that are listened to? Wise Intelligent is trying to do a comeback, but the rest flopped HARD)

but on the real you can’t say DRE is the best lyrically.

First there was Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik,where i saw that OutKast is a force to reckon,2 years later ATLiens,OutKast were a force,Aquemini,legends,Stankonia,wonders,Speakerboxxx/The Love Below,diamond,but at what cost,Dre abandoned rapping…and after 5-6 years without any new rap from him,the first rap in 5 years,he mudered it…just like Brett Favre when this year finally he got decent receivers…Andre and Big Boi will always be the best…
