“LOOSER”
YEAH I SAID IT
November 18th, 2007 at 11:28 am
IMO big boi is better than andre 3000. i feel andre only gets more plaudits because he dresses a bit out of the ordinary and is more crazy than big boi. but big boi’s flow is sick and he never gets the credit he deserves but outkast on the whole are way beyond what other hip hop, and groups in general, are about.
November 18th, 2007 at 11:30 am
I’ve heard Part 1 with MC Ricky D, but that’s it.

FIRE!!…3 Stacks is the Truth
November 18th, 2007 at 11:51 am
..”its step your game up time//”
i think that is areal true statement.. anyone who has been around long enough, knows music goes in cycles… the backlash against alot of the ringtone garbage is gaining momentum…
from what i see coming out…there are some artists out thre that realize they have to save the Hip Hop form itself…
November 18th, 2007 at 12:02 pm
Appreciate the love RealTalk!

November 18th, 2007 at 12:39 pm
@#2 you are officially banned from all outkast conversations! The set of storytelling is from aquemini…the remix with slick rick. That comment says everything about some of the uninformed dumb ass comments that are on these blogs!
November 18th, 2007 at 1:05 pm
that shit is so tight
November 18th, 2007 at 1:41 pm
yo andre 3000 is the best rapper of all time. he has been spitting consistently since 93, who else can you say that about? he has never had a flop, has never put out a wack verse, i dare you to try and find a wack verse from him, you can’t! he has been commercially successful, damn his last album sold over 11 mill, who else you know goes DIAMOND? shit its a miracle if a nigga can even go platinum now. Outkast has always been creative and original, they never had to rap about crack and slapping hoes, they always have a positive message in their songs. Damn who else do you know that can wear a kilt and football shoulder pads, and still have more street cred in the hood than any other nigga? Dre has the ultimate swagger, this nigga is the king, nas or pac aint got shit on him. His wordplay and lyrical skills are what everyone else is compared to, how the hell can anyone hate on him? He turned an apology to erika badhu into a grammy winning song, and all cats now want to hear is dj khaled yellin we the best
ANDRE ‘3 STACKS’ 3000 IS THE DEFINITION OF HIP HOP, AND IS THE G.O.A.T.
November 18th, 2007 at 2:52 pm

November 18th, 2007 at 3:50 pm
Damn this is dope. I love all the versions and this doesn’t dissapoint. There is no way you can possibly hate on Andre 3000 the rapper he is a legend one of the g.o.a.t. to spit there is nobody in rap that you can compare him to he is that great but obviously some of his other forms of music aint that great.
November 18th, 2007 at 4:23 pm
killed it.
im glad somebody else feels that same as me about the dumb ass “making it rain” shit.
November 18th, 2007 at 4:51 pm

November 18th, 2007 at 5:05 pm

November 18th, 2007 at 7:18 pm
i can think of 10 rappers better than lil wayne, the south just pumps him up because they are limited on lyricist down there,he is overated, andre 3000 is killing lil wayne.

November 19th, 2007 at 7:18 am
I ran that back like three times. 3000 KILLED that. One of the best ever. Go all the way back to 93 and try to find ONE wack verse from 3000.
November 19th, 2007 at 7:22 am
That beat was crazy, they need to drop another outkast album. One of the few niggas that lasted in the game since I was kid and actually got better.
November 19th, 2007 at 8:25 am
what more can you say about 3 stacks one of the best to ever do it lil wayne ya days are numbered.
November 19th, 2007 at 10:49 am
STACKS SHITTIN ON LIL WAYNE I MEAN COME ON WHO THE FUCK ACTUALLY TAKES WAYNE LYRICS SERIOUSLY HE JUST MAKE SHYT SOUND GOOD HIS WORDS HAVE NO MEANING
November 19th, 2007 at 11:19 am
I think wayne and 3 stacks are completely different type of artist. But why niggas always bring up wayne on post he has nothing to do with lol?
Anyway co-sign 28: don’t take all of wayne shit seriously but that applies to all rappers damn near. Rap is a form of music, music is entertainment. Do niggas go to the movies and really think Denzel or Will Smith or whoever doin all the shit in their movie role is doin the same thing in real life. It is what it is and what it is, is the entertainment industry.
November 19th, 2007 at 11:22 am
how are niggas even comparing him to Wayne? what yall niggas be on?
this nigga is the shit, that was straight fire!!!
November 19th, 2007 at 11:30 am
thank you POUNCE!!!!! you said it. these niggas take the game way too seriously, this nigga lying, this nigga aint hood. niggas act like these rappers owe us the truth and shit. get a life homies.

November 19th, 2007 at 4:12 pm
#32, first of all shut your punk ass up,like i was trying to say, if lil wayne was from new york he wouldn “t even be considered #1 because there are so many good mc”s in new york.the south really has maybe 5 to 8 good rappers who can actually rap without coming out with that bullshit snap or clap music. i love the south, it’s just alot of the shit that comes out from down there is bullshit, and the shit don”t even be selling because the albums be trash, not that record sales has anything to do with. AND WHAT THE FUCK IS A AND ALANTA BYRD GANG, QUIT DICK RIDING NEW YORK
November 19th, 2007 at 5:09 pm
i meant #38
November 19th, 2007 at 5:54 pm
man back in the day i liked big boi more but andre 3000 back to rapping got me vibin refreshing, its odd he been in the rap game a long time yet his style sounds refreshing
November 20th, 2007 at 8:26 am
Three Stacks does his own beats, right if I’m not mistaken?? I don’t like hearing Big Boi and Andre on seperate tracks but they still hold it down. Andre 3000 is the complete artist. Having that cash money dude in the same sentence is embarassment although they did make a track together. He’s tight and has been shitting on this ringtone music even on ringtone tracks.
And what’s the big deal with that Lil’ dude anyway?? I only like one song out of his 174 tracks he has done in the past two months . . .
November 20th, 2007 at 10:30 am
AND PEOPLE HAVE THE NERVE TO SAY WEEZY IS THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE
ANDRE 3000>WEEZY.
November 20th, 2007 at 10:34 am
Yes sir that was some tough shit right there i’m lookin’ foward to that Dj Drama album
November 20th, 2007 at 10:36 am
After listening to Hollywood, im beginning to think Andre wrote for Lil Wayne
November 20th, 2007 at 11:04 am
They should do another double album, but this time both rappin’, not 1 rap CD & 1 R&B CD.
November 20th, 2007 at 11:11 am
this track is dope…in doesn’t matter if you north south west or east a good artist is a good artist regardless where they from andre 3000 is a force to be wrecking with son…
November 20th, 2007 at 11:19 am
people saying this is crack, na nigga crack aint good for you.
this nigga is like water,good 4 u
“started out starvin, now they got me bret favre-ing”
the name of the song is called the ART of storytelling
and rappers need to realize this shit is an ART, outkast using paint brushes, these other rappers using magic markers and shit.
and for the record t.i. ,or wayne, even luda, cant claim king of the south as long as big boi and 3stacks is on the mic.
thats realtalk
November 20th, 2007 at 11:45 am
U wrote Andre 3000 its Outkast.
and I Big Boi always been better in my ears
November 20th, 2007 at 12:24 pm

why does everyone like andre 3000
November 20th, 2007 at 12:49 pm
big up to angre 3000, n big boi, doing big thang.
November 20th, 2007 at 12:53 pm
3 Stack is SOOOOO Under-rated??? He is never in anyones top 5!! The consumer is SO wack now a dayz. My top 5…
1. Tupac
2. Eminem
3. Jay-z
4. Biggie (never was never ALL that appealing to me. Just cleaver word play and that doesn’t make someone a great. It makes them cleaver. The second album could have been 1 good album instead of being split into 2 mediocre albums IMHO)
5. Andre 3000
2 & 3R actually interchangable though. They can’t really be compaired just like 50 cent and Kanye. To TOTALLY different subject matter.
November 20th, 2007 at 12:53 pm
This is what kills me when people are bigging up Lil Weasel. Aside from the given Hov and Nas being nasty – Weezy ain’t better than Andre or Luda (from the South) and overall add Eminem and even a few other subs. Please stop making Weezy think he’s the one because he’s not.
November 20th, 2007 at 12:55 pm
^^^I can’t WAIT for King Marshall to drop. HE ain’t like “others” and claim to be retired and come back for publicity. He makes us wait cuz he KNOW he is worth it!!!! He ain’ gotta put out an album every year like your favorite rapper to stay relevant!!!
November 20th, 2007 at 1:23 pm
for anyone that says hip hop is dead..
how can hip hop be dead if outkast is still alive? now answer me that
November 20th, 2007 at 1:37 pm
Good looking on the re-post with the full version RTNY. This beat gonna get jacked for a couple mixtapes i bet.
November 20th, 2007 at 1:54 pm

“why does everyone like andre 3000″
DID YOU CLICK THE PLAY BUTTON?MIGHT ANSWER YOUR QUESTION HAR HAR
November 20th, 2007 at 2:24 pm
i cant believe no new rapper after all these years can even hang with guys like outkast on a creative level… is it that the people have no appreciation for creativity or is that hiphop fan’s attention span has gone the way of monkeys???
November 20th, 2007 at 2:25 pm
3 stacks is better than ur fav. NY rapper HA!
weezy still da best tho
South we here!!
November 20th, 2007 at 2:30 pm
yall quick to say better than lil wayne!!! lmao. being from the south i support both. yall just looking for somebody to say they are better than wayne lol only person that is better than weezy is jay. period.
i say wayne is better than 3 stacks overall.. with all the songs weezy released this yr he’s still hot. yall havent seen wayne
be very afraid.
November 20th, 2007 at 2:41 pm
I will put up 3000’s verse against anything out currently. Listening to this verse just makes you wonder why is it that some rappers have deal(soulja boy, hurricane chris, MIMS, etc.). The difference is that this verse could be spit over any beat and still be hot without the need of a catchy hook either. THIS IS HIP HOP.
November 20th, 2007 at 2:51 pm
#65 are you serious. What do you mean by better. Are you talking about album sales?. Hit records?. Hot verses?. Longevity in the game?. In what way is lil wayne even mentioned in the same sentence with Jay anyways. Better than 3000, what are you smoking. This lil wayne 17 year old fans are crazy. Jay and Andre have been having huge impacts on the game well you were still running around in diapers. How many #1 records does wayne have, how long has he had a huge impact on the game.
November 20th, 2007 at 2:58 pm
#17
I’m 18 in college.
lol I didn’t even read the rest of what you said cuz hater’s do nothing but vomit shit from their mouths..stank ass hatin blog negros.
FACT: wayne is here to stay an reign untill he decides to stop. live with it.
November 20th, 2007 at 2:58 pm
oops number 67
November 20th, 2007 at 3:07 pm
I am sorry I missed your age by one year. So your in college? good for you brother. I am 24 and already graduated from college. The think is that I have a bigger appreciation for history and actually remember people that paved the way and give them their do credit (big daddy kane, krs-one, EPMD, Kool G rap, NWA, Ice Cube, Sugar Hill gang, A tribe called quest, so on and so on). Keep that in mind homie.
November 20th, 2007 at 3:14 pm
Hip Hop is alive as long as OutKast, name 3 stacks, is on the mic.
November 20th, 2007 at 3:15 pm
lol are you trying to show you are a hip hop connoissur or something?
Sure I have appreciation for the old classics and legends but old heads like you have probably heard 1 or 2 lil wayne songs, out of 100s and are mad why he gets so much attention right?
If you cannot bring your self low enough to appreciate the new cats then I have no respect for you. Live in the past and forever be crystalized in old school shit for all i care lol
One thing ppl don’t understand about wayne is his style: he doesn’t take himself too seriously, says anything he wants and sometimes comes of subpar but he does have alot of good songs. Pray to the lord, Trouble, Gossip, la la.. to name a few.
If you can’t actually try to listen to the dude before you hate on him then that’s just sad.
November 20th, 2007 at 3:17 pm
Whoooo hooo, my dude killed it with that first verse. i’ve replayed the verse over and over and still havent heard the rest of the track. this is some $Hiiiiiiiiiiit! i cant wait til they take ATL out of that snap music and back to that ‘Kast music. stay up.
November 20th, 2007 at 3:19 pm
“only person that is better than weezy is jay. period.”
TRUE,THAT MUST BE WHY HE NEEDED GILLIE DA KID TO WRITE RHYMES FOR HIM.
OOOOOOH THIS IS GOING TO GET INTERESTING!
November 20th, 2007 at 3:24 pm
^^It would only get interesting the day I hear a really hot 16 from gillie
I’m still waiting. cuz I do listen to the dude mind you.
November 20th, 2007 at 3:24 pm
So you are telling me that you are a real hip hop fan and still think that way?. Damn, worse than I expected. Talking about new cats listen to the crooked I every week. Every week he spits lava.
November 20th, 2007 at 3:27 pm
Think what way? My reasons for liking wayne’s music are not because he is lyrically the best. He does have the best delivery and dude is just put of his mind with metaphors and some of the stuff he raps about… thats ofcourse if you’re bothered to listen lol.
Crooked I? I’ll see..
November 20th, 2007 at 3:48 pm
HIP HOP AIN’T DEAD…IT LIVES IN THE SOUTH…AT 3 STACKS’ CRIB!
November 20th, 2007 at 3:50 pm
I love outcast, Dre and Big Boi. Why discuss who’s better. They are both tight. The group is greater than the sum of its parts.
#14- listen to Outkast’s first album. They were kids rapping about hoes , pimpin, cadillacs and smoking weed on half the tracks. They are good dudes but that aint no saints.
November 20th, 2007 at 4:07 pm
Some body here said “I cant believe no new rapper after all these years can even hang with guys like outkast on a creative level… is it that the people have no appreciation for creativity or is that hiphop fan’s attention span has gone the way of monkeys???”
They are quite a few rappers that EXIST that are very creative but corporate America ( record companies ) values money not art.
Wayne does what he does well. What he does sells so he will get a big push. Outkast did what they did in baby steps. There is no way in hell they could have come out in the begining as what they have evolved into. Companies are responsable. All they do is duplicate trends.
The point is yes , the many people have no appreciation for creativity and many hiphop fan’s attention span has gone the way of monkeys. But true artistry is out the you just have to dig
November 20th, 2007 at 6:35 pm
I’m still riding with DF… I miss Killa MIKE though!
3000 is top 10 MC at least top 5 is real tough… You can mos def put him up against any one verse for verse though includin the Od mc jigga man!
November 20th, 2007 at 9:50 pm
this song is dirty..
November 21st, 2007 at 6:07 am
“It would only get interesting the day I hear a really hot 16 from gillie”
INTERESTING
November 21st, 2007 at 7:34 am
god andre murked that shit. best voice in hip hop? i was suspect of the beat at first but it came through, what made the song tho was outkast verses
November 21st, 2007 at 8:29 am
ANYBODY THAT KNOWS HIS RAPS AGREES THAT 3 STACKS IS IN THE TOP 5 BEST LYRICIST IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME , PERIOD !!!
NUMBER 1 IF U ASK ME LOL !
November 21st, 2007 at 12:04 pm
JUST FIYA
November 21st, 2007 at 12:27 pm
Okay.. i have listened to this like 20x straight.. (yeah i do that)… crazy song.. great track and andre rides this beat crazy. I think that from now on Andre should go second on any song that he does with big boi.. cuz i cant seem to get past the first verse very often and from reading all the comments most of yall havent either.
November 21st, 2007 at 12:28 pm
Andre fell off for awhile, glad to see he’s back spittin that real shit. And to whoever challenged to find an Andre song thats wack…”The Love Below” all of it was trash..sorry.
November 21st, 2007 at 1:31 pm
Did anybody realize that the DJ Drama album is going to be all fire. I havent heard one weak song from the shit that leaked.
November 21st, 2007 at 6:42 pm
Andre 3000, definitely underrated…
November 23rd, 2007 at 4:00 am
BOW DOWN AND JUST MOVE ON…THESE CATS ARE SERIOUS!!!! DJ DRAMA better thank Andre everyday til his Album is certified platinum.
CD’S DON’T SELL…when this out. THE HOOD AND CROSSOVER MARKETS GON BE COPPIN
November 24th, 2007 at 7:54 pm
#14. (ronnie coleman)
EVERYTHING YOU SAID IN YOUR COMMENT. I AGREE!
November 24th, 2007 at 9:07 pm
To RapaLot…
My beef with Wayne’s music.
For every one semi-good, good, or great song and/or verse, the cat has at least seven trash, dookie, horrid songs and/or verses. (and that ratio is steadily rising)
Also, you talk about all the stuff he has released “this year,” but I have yet to see an album. Furthermore, what about all that “great” music he released pre-”Carter?” Have you took the time to listen to your boy’s albums from that time?
See, Big Boi and Andre 3K have been consistently hot since 93-94. Not only that, both have remained relevant since that time, and also the masses are always ready to hear new stuff. I can only think of one other name who can say the same thing ‘Kast can, and that is Nasir Jones. Remember, Jay didn’t release until ‘96.
None the less, to sum it up, Wayne can’t be mentioned in the same breath as a Busta, Method, Ghostface, hell even 50. So putting him in the same sink as ‘Kast or Jay is blasphemy.
In all honesty I don’t think Wayne is better than Cam’ron nor as entertaining.
BTW, I listen to Wayne, often, but I speak the truth, or at least the truth as I see it.
November 25th, 2007 at 8:45 pm
I need to hear 3000 on a DP4. Or Jay on DAOST 5. I’d pay 50 bucks for that alone.
November 29th, 2007 at 5:59 am
First there was Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, where i saw that OutKast is a force to reckon,2 years later ATLiens,OutKast were a force,Aquemini,legends,Stankonia,wonders,Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, diamond, but at what cost,Dre abandoned rapping…and after 5-6 years without any new rap from him,the first rap in 5 years,he mudered it…just like Brett Favre when this year finally he got decent receivers…Andre and Big Boi will always be the best…
December 8th, 2007 at 9:22 am
Andre 3000 MURDERED it, chopped it up and put it around the bodies of water for people to find in suitcases.
On the real though, Wayne can’t touch him. Yes he does have a nice flow, and he can make up words that don’t exist in the english dictionary. but with lyrics like:
“got old school bitches and new school hoes female basketball players with cornroles”
seriously, as the state of hip hop right now, continuely bashing the gender that birthed you? and you think you hot? JOKER ONE TIME
now look at the lyrics with Dre:
“Forever never seems that long until you’re grown
And notice that the day by day rule can’t be too long
Ms. Jackson my intentions were good I wish I could
Become a magician to abracadabra all the sadder”
WHAT artist do you know that can pluck that out of their own mind?
I just took 2 random songs on my list n mind you, i listened to both these cats.
There are pros for Wayne
- unique-ish flow
pros for Dre
- lyrically a monster
- ridiculous style/flow
- a survivor (how many cats back from 93′ still bringing out tracks that are listened to? Wise Intelligent is trying to do a comeback, but the rest flopped HARD)
but on the real you can’t say DRE is the best lyrically.
what about Talib?
Mos Def?
Black Thought? (The roots)
December 12th, 2007 at 6:11 pm
I don’t think there is a part 3, but if there is I sure do wanna hear it. Part two is the best though……Dre came in killin it
February 1st, 2008 at 8:17 pm
First off, anyone who even compares Lil’ Wayne to Andre3000 is not a true hip hop head. Wayne is a total joke. He’d be nothing without Gillie Da Kid. 99.9% of Wayne’s ish is straight garbage, give me some REAL hip-hop…. Outkast’s been doin it since ya’ll was in diapers for real. Andre3k and Big Boi will ALWAYS be a force to be reckoned with, they’ve been so versatile over the years yet remained true to the art of real hip hop. it’s not a takeover, it’s a makeover.
February 1st, 2008 at 8:24 pm
i can’t believe what i’m reading, who puts WEEZY in the top anything except a COMMERCIAL RAP STAR. all you rap fans ride him, but true hip-hop heads disrespect him. dude is a straight joke sounding like his balls haven’t dropped yet. yes he makes millions, but so the f*** what? have you seen a show with weezy on stage? B=O=R=I=N=G. and that idiot got busted with x and coke. lol stay natural weezy, the only thing you’re stuntin’ is your growth.
February 20th, 2008 at 6:59 pm
Andre Benjamin is a local boy that laid the path way for all these wannabeezzz…..can’t touch him or Big Boi. Most of ya’ll are hatin because you know mainstream NOT real lyricist like Del or Aceyalone. Wake up!!!
February 27th, 2008 at 7:59 pm
wow…
first off, anyone who fronts on dre has no clue…and “found hip hop in the gift shop”
second…I can’t believe you people argue over who is better in the south…there are many that are great at what they do…Scarface is a legend but he never gets mentioned cuz lyrically he’s not on the same page as some of these emcees…wayne’s strength is his delivery, but here’s what’s funny to me (my opinion!), andre has been doing it better and longer!! how can you front on that??
also I’d like to say whoever it was that mention Black Thought…THANK YOU!! That fool is so slept on…newbies need to go listen to “75 Bars” since it’s relevant…I’ve never seen anybody with more stamina and mic control period.
and to the cats talkin about em like he’s been makin us wait…hahahahahaha! ever think for a second he might have his own real life issues to deal with (besides the death of his hip hop brother who guided him into rippin the mic you love so much)
DO THE MATH!!!

I put 3000 in the top 5, but this isn’t his best verse.
OutKast works because of the both of them. Big Boi is dope in his own right and they are the example of yin and yang. I’ve never looked at one being better than the other, but if I had to, in this one he had a better verse overall than dre. With that being said, I think any “ok” Andre verse is much better than most of the garbage that’s out now. Lil Wayne shouldn’t be in the same sentence (and yes I have heard ALL of his tracks!) The Drought 3 was his best to me and even that got boring, it’s not fresh. Nobody can do what OutKast does, so if you front on 3000 you’re frontin on hip hop PERIOD!

you all are retarded. outkast makes good music. that’s it.
you all are so under-developed when it comes to real hip-hop that all this dancing bull shit now-a-days is “WUTZ REALLY HOT IN THE STREETS.” u faggots are too busy learning chris brown dance moves to give a shit about what MCs are saying in their lyrics. its a shame.
