punline rappers are lame cuz most of em dont kno the meaning of rythym..u can have all the punlines and smart phrases in the wotld, but if it dont sound good noones gonna by ur shit n these punline rappers dont get it..tupac, biggie, snoop, 50 all these rappers dont just rap, they add a lil extra attitude and flow to each line and thats y their shit sounded good and thats y they sold millions.. jadakiss,papoose,cassidy,jae mills, n the rest of those battle rappers dont get it and they;ll never sell. sick of these battle rappers .these fuckers gotta learn to flow to beat instead of talkin fast on it.

Hate to say this but dxz got a point. To me, they gotta come with the complete package. Flow, delivery, punchline, story tellin etc.. rhyming to the beat! Become one with the beat and add some soul into it. Give us that raw fresh sound to hip-hop that hunger boy!. I do respect them though because that’s there own style..But to be honest were never going to be satisfied…so just give em credit. real recognize real

holla i don’t even like jadakiss that much but i do think he got skills but he needs to change up his style and put some flavor in his shit cuz his shit do gets boring fast to me..

Yeah, i agree with .dxz and 4realzsonny… Jada got bars, but most tracks all sound the same. All those other cats dudes are mentioning, aint worth mentioning at all.

It’s almost like the soul is really missing from a lot of music these days. If they spit a story, it usually sounds like you heard it all already anyway. Music really grabs you when you can tell that the artist actually really experienced what they are rapping about and wrote it to express & convey a feeling, rather than just to make another song.

Yeah I agree with #4 but I think Jadakiss on the Kiss Of Death album did try that type of style with joints like, ‘Why’, ‘Time Is Up’ and ‘Still Feel Me’ and he went platinum by doing that, but the response from his loyal fans wasnt that great so it is all about getting that balance and having that cross over appeal to mainstream and the so called hood appeal.
