Mainstream or corporate rap is predictable and now is being used to sell every damn thing under the sun. The deeper meanings and mystique of its early genesis and message is long gone and unlikely to return to its roots.

Now you have “character rappers” who assume a tough guy persona (even false flagging) and that kind of thing. It is basically formulaic because the company is investing money in an artist and has to have a rate of return on their investment.

Stupid ass rappers who made a few coins and spent all their money on dumb ass chains (with no resale value or liquidity), cars, grills, and all kinds of stupid shit need to realize rule Number 1 in the real money game: Buy shit that appreciates and can be liquidates–that would be gold, diamonds (not the rapper kind), art, real estate (not mansions you cannot afford), and/or things that let’s your money work for you. The point of having money is to have FREEDOM and to FREE others along the way. How can something appear to be a BOSS who is really an EMPLOYEE pretending to be a BOSS.

Real men are not sporting stupid ass chains, wathces big as hubcaps, baseball caps, and stupid ass sneakers. That’s for children.

Most men with money and class buy Swiss watches–Patek, Blancpain, Breguet, and others. They understand the difference between “luxury” watches and watches that are manufactured according to the highest standards.

Ghetto folks have to use their choice of weapons to get the hell out of the ghetto and once out of the ghetto–you feel me?–you teach by example.

Puffy, Jay and a few others realized this shit and put down the early nomenclature of the rap game. It is like a rocket going into space. The engine that gets you to space does not keep you IN SPACE. Another set of systems does that.
