Thats a nice track…..don’t know how some of you can say garbage – I know music is subjective, but garbage is an extreme comment, even if it didn’t hit your ears correctly.
That was real music!
November 6th, 2007 at 8:42 am
This is top-notch hip hop. believe that.
If it was garbage, why would it have sold 14 Million dollars.

There is still hope for Hip Hop it looks like. Jay droppin American Gangster and Lupe droppin that Superstar track and video for “The Cool”. I respect the different genre’s of music out there esp for hip hop nowadays but come on peeps do you guys actually listen to the words or do you skim thru it like my man Jay said back in the day. . .

November 6th, 2007 at 9:24 am
This joint is classic Snoop used the same sample on his track called ‘ballin’ off the ‘Paid the cost to be the boss’ but I think Jay takes this shit somewhere else along with American Dream and alot of other joints this album is a near classic but judge it after a couple of months aswell.
people who are just saying it is garbage are just hating ass bitches they never explain themselves all they say is it aint Reasonable Doubt or Blueprint that is why the album is called American Gangster ffs.
November 6th, 2007 at 9:26 am

November 6th, 2007 at 11:48 am
lil kids havin fun on this sayin it’s garbage got everybody reacting. it’s that heat hip hop needs right now. for the street. and jay ain’t doing this for the money. he got that already.straight genuine art. no hustle. sorry hustlers still ain’t knockin yo hustle we gotta get that too regardless but this is skills creativity we talkin here with this one.pure raw and uncut.( with some timing for the movie to come out)but ain’t no flava of the month singles here.he brought it back to that iceberg slim, reasonable/vol 1 shit. this vibe he givin for this album remind me of when jigga made that song “this life forever” on that soundtrack donald goines joint.
November 6th, 2007 at 12:01 pm
