  3. Mi Mi © Says:

American Gangster is a definate classic, from beginning to end…

    1. Reasonable Doubt
    2. Blueprint
    3. American Gangster

  4. Ahijah Says:

American Gangster is actually worse than Kingdom come, I only like Roc Boys, I like the song with Nas aswell Jay-Z came pretty average on that song. He will sell big though but I wish people will stop throwing Classic’s at everythink classic it is not. I’m not a hater though I just don’t think it’s that good

  5. shontae' Says:

@4 well it’s gotten great reviews and no offense i’ m all for opinions but you are a straight fool if you think that only two songs are hot on there roc boys and success aren’t the hottest songs on the album i mean different strokes for different folks but still judging off you opinion you either didn’t listen/or buy the album or you have horrible taste

anway the {no hook} song alone shits on both them songs

and {party life} is on some grown and sexy shit, there’s a LOT! of slick talking and swagger all over that joint

{say hello} is on some lyrical hood shit with a poweful ending

{fallin} damn do i really need to say anything about this?
it speaks volumes for it’s damn self

{pray) is another meet the parents very well painted picture

(american dreaming} is aother well painted picture
    but maybe a better painted picture i don’t know see verse’s 2&3

and {american gangster } is amazing the way he chasing
the beat with that crazy flow sorta like a updated ‘hovi baby’

the other two songs {i know} and {hello brooklyn} are good not as bad as people claim it to be

and roc boys and success are crazy songs but they are not
the best songs on the album

blue magic is on some 80’s rakim shit and it’s not a horrible song it’s just the fact of pharell ass singing and the damn beat a lil bit.but other than that his lyrics and flow is great

the only song i didn’t mention which is the only song that i HATE HATE hate and that is sweet it’s not my style at all

i mean but that’s your opinion ..if roc boys and success is some thing you like then continue to do you i just said this so the people who haven’t got it wont be led a stray and if there are more than 5 songs on an album that are great/better than the last one then it wont be fair to call the album garbage exspecially now a days ..

  18. Juicy Says:

hard knock life tour was the shit, and they even came to my city!!! i was getting autographs and shit!!!!! we need another tour like that, but then again, none of these rappers are hot right now. just half assed R&B singers and niggas doing supermans and shit.

  19. Dwillz Says:

I bought the album listen to it first and was like i’m not feeling this but then again i could not really concentrate on the material cause i was sleepy
but after a fresh 8hr nap i got refocused and hop on a long bus ride but then the material started to uncover itself
this by far is a good album the intro is oh so serious and the swagger on the tracks he is right that talk is only reserved for the bosses and ignorant shit man yo that joint could not get anybetter who ever said this guy needs to retire needs to learn to appreciate life

  20. B Says:

My Ipod Touch is on constant repeat of this album.
Just my opnion, and I have no ill feelings towards Wayne, but I feel the only song that didn’t quite fit the format was Hello Brooklyn. That’s the only song I skip sometimes. I love this album and I feel it’s a great way to show growth in music, it’s trend setting just like the Blueprint before it.

It’s not for everyone, so I expect some negative comments, those comments actually show the level that the person is on rather than the character of the album.

Itunes messed up my pre-order and I didn’t get my free video, but they caught it quick, and now the video is in que waiting for me to download it, plus I got two credits for free songs at anytime!

Rocafella grew new legs are now about as strong as they were years ago. “Snatch Jadakiss and it’s a wrap”
These guys can really place NY back on the top of things. This type of excitment hasn’t been seen in a while.

  21. T2 Says:

I am addicted to ’say hello’ that joint is crazy I only copped the album today and I know 90% of the lyrics already to the whole album cus it is on constant repeat.

  22. Mi Mi © Says:
