^^^u don’t know what any1’s been thru…i was born middle class yet i’ve had trials in my life similar to ppl in tha ghetto…its very judgemental to believe people in the suburbs or middle class don’t have a story to tell because everyone has there story yet few get heard.
wyclef is a big inspiration to those who feel theres no hope because they grew up with nothing, big ups to him on that, but like i said before ,he”s corny,he doesn”t make an impact on music anymore, and .i could give a fuck if he or the fugees ever record another album again.its been over 10 years and u people keep saying u want them to make another album, fuck the fugees

Props to Clef and the movement he and the fugees lead in there prime. Alot of people don’t realize how hard it was to be an Haitian or of Haitian desent in the 80’s and early 90’s. It just wasn’t cool to be a ZOE(slang for being an Haitian)back in the days. We didn’t get any respect from our peers, which cause alot of us to be ashamed of our culture.
But that all change because of them and the legendary Zoe Pound Crew in Miami.
Though I’m not an huge fan of his music, I respect him as a person. He does alot for our native country Haiti now that’s

shout out to wyclef for be real with it,just like me i wont forget where i came from no matter what happened, im an African
but i reside in the US now for few years,im reppin “South Sudan” to the day i die, some of yall here dont know whats goin on there..
This story has really inspired me. I mean this guy came from the bottom and worked his way to the top. This tells me that i can do anything regardless of my background. I love the way he reps his country n da caribbean. Big up n nuff respect for that Wyclef. This opened my eye to see that there are many opportunities not just in America bt in da UK n if we keep taking it for granted then its our lose.

This is nothing new to most of us that came from the caribbean and other islands. I’m Trini and grew up dealing with the same hard knock life, I personally heard women who were giving birth get cursed out, the nurses saying “Yuh lay down to take it in the bed why yuh can’t take the pain now?”
I came to the US with a fake visa, i couldn’t get a job, couldn’t go to school, but I felt like I was ballin because I was in BK kid!!
But there are people in America that are going thru the same struggle and even more hardship. It’s everywhere.

I agree that his rap career ain’t as good as it used to be but he’s a producer now. A successful one at that. Working with the likes of Shakira,Whitney, T.I, Akon, Lil Wayne. He is still banking it. Kepp doing you Clef, you don’t need the fugees…
