Props to Common on his award at the BET Awards he said it was the 1st award for 14 years for someone like Common he deserves more recognistion than that.

@ 4 Common is already Gold, It’s a shame that it took this long to finally get the respect he deserves e.g winning awards hopefully Finding Forever will go plantinum soon, can’t wait for the video.

This video should be interesting with all the cameos…The song is hot…I wanna see how he intertwines the two…Common is definately most underrated MC…I can’t believe he never won an award in the 14 years he’s been in the game, cuz his music is grammy worthy…Fa real…

…I have so much more respect for him, cuz although he doesn’t get much recognition, it shows that he obviously has a geniune passion and love for what he does…gotta love it…

common is hiphop…….if you think hiphop is dead then you should be ashamed of yourself, for saying some shit like that. the only reason why people think hiphop is dead, is cuz there not enough people supporting it. and also cuz people are losing there interest’ trust’ faith’ respect’ attention’ and love’ for hiphop and it a shame. i feel that common is one of those hiphop artist, who is putting alot of color in hiphop. i also feel that that is the reason why common is so deep in the game right now. and if ya are not supporting the message that common is creating in hiphop. then ya must not no shit about supporting hiphop at all. cuz if ya did ya wouldn’t be worrying about his album sell weather it gold’ or platinum’. i mean fuck the album sell that shit not mean shit at all. i think people need to pay more attention and give more respect to the quality material of hiphop albums, then showing more respect and attention to the album sell. i feel that those are the reason why hiphop is dead, cuz people are so addicted to everything that surrounds a hiphop album. then the quality material of an album. and that is what attract more people to listen to rap music then hiphop music …….. this comment go out to any of you hiphop hater who said that hiphop is dead, especially the ones who are more focus on album sell then the material of an album……….my bad more making this comment so long shit is long is hell for real.

What do you mean his first award in 14 years? He won a grammy for “Love of my Life” in ‘03; the same song he won video of the year for at the BET awardsa a while back.
