I hear all these people talking about how cosby is only talking about hip hop then bringing up kanye, true kanye is a little bit less negative but his behaviour is not.
and talking about the negative side hip hop because that is the side that is NEGATIVE! maybe he is not talking about all of hip hop… maybe we should focus on that side of it first before we start attacking the good in everything… stop being jackasses guys. think first ok

well i don’t agree with anyones opinion i coincide with what i see and anylyze i watch everything that happens in the inner youth community i was raised and born into it im and i can say that rap music did have an impact on me and my peers but because we could relate to it and it made us feel as if there was someone speaking for us but before my time before tupac’s time back in places like new york and california there was more murders than world war two happening look it up and noone ever spoke on the situation and when gangster rap happend it happend because people were tired of begging for help now they were declaring war and it was the only way to attack the situation and it is not a negative thing from what any rapper says its either them speaking there life or speaking through the life of what they saw happen it has always reflected the community and we need that more than anything if your not from the hood you don’t understand it you have to put yourself in that situation but listen everyone is different noone not even in the hood is gonna get what the rappers are saying but thats the rappers fault cuz if the rapper is good enough he can get his point and persona clear across to the community and someone that is living the lifestyle that the rapper is talking bout will pick it up and like the white suburban kids they will too and its a downside cuz they mimic it while the inner youth kid trys to do better like 50 cent he gets mad drama from what he raps about he clearly said he wasn’t trying to save the world like tupac he was speaking his life story and i dont disagree with it everyone has common sense and in the hood most kids they feel and understand more than most suburban kids because of the situations but in the area it feels as if theres no hope but i remember listening to rap all my life and it gave me home and i actually am working towards becoming a rapper but i mean rap is a voice for us but it gets misused but all this is for US is a voice being used when crys were being sent out to deff years its just that rap is an angry place also because the black community especially was begging for help with the black panthers and now the rappers and some of the real rappers not the materialistic rappers are now demanding it we’re not asking nomore and i think its a great impowering thing and i love it with a passion and i would die for it but for those rappers who do make rap so shitty thats the media’s fault there are some great great deep rappers out there but refuse to be put on air because of the contriversialness it would recieve and its easier to hear bull shit than some serious shit but i mean look underground theres some deep shit that will make you cry but any real rapper wether there making a difference or just speaking on what they know it has to have a meaning to me but either one im down for to each his own but rap will live on for the hopeless

Yes he’s not perfect, but if a retarted person dropped a jewel on you would you listen? The man has money which is the reason most people state they follow people so why not follow his pockets, cause they want you in college rather then on the block? I don’t care if he was pissin on braods too, if he’s tellin the truth or sayin some real sh!t he’s still tellin the truth or sayin some real sh!t! Point is the message is always whats more important, NOT THE MESSENGER. People kill the messenger cause they can’t face the realities of the message!

I agree with Mr.Cosby.. We have got to stop blaming everything on everybody else. Yes the system is unfair, but hindsight is 20/20. Since we know that the system doesnt have us in their best intrest why are we doing stupid things so that “they” have a reason to put us down. And Mr. Cosby personal business with his wife doesnt have anything to do with what he is talking about. It would matter if he cheated whith a black or white women, he’s not asking us to hate white people just to take care of ourselves.
