VH1 Hip Hop Honors Is Def Worth A Watch
I had a chance to attend this year’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors show this week, the show was popping. I have to give VH1 props for putting together such a great Hip Hop event with big names and a purpose of respecting the past and present of Hip Hop. Each tribute performance was star studded and very entertaining. More info, pics and video below…

Performers for the night included Common, Pharrell, Lupe Fiasco, Ciara, Eve, Keyshia Cole, Ne-Yo, Timbaland, Bow Wow, Nelly Furtado, T.I.. B.G., Teddy Riley, Snoop Dog, Busta Rhymes, A Tribe Called Quest, Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, Nick Cannon and Ice-T. There was also appearances by Salt n Pepa, Chris Rock, LL Cool J, and Kerry Washington with the event being hosted by Tracy Morgan.
Tracy Morgan seemed tipsy or a little off but was funny nonetheless. Got an up close look at Kerry Washington, her legs are a problem but overall she not as great as I expected from looking at pictures(Then again who is). Ciara had her sexy thighs out, and Keyshia Cole looked nice with some tights on.
In one of the most entertaining moments of the night, JD, Nelly, & Nick Cannon performed some old school dance moves with the Hip Hop legends, “Whodini.” A 14 year old looking Bow Wow joined T.I., B.G., Daz, Ice-T & Snoop Dogg for a Snoop Dogg tribute which was hot. The climax of the show was Busta Rhymes coming out to perform his verse from, “The Scenario,” in and old school Hip Hop outfit. I was waiting for him to come out and kill it, he had everyone jumping and going wild. The energy was high through out the show an should be very entertaining to watch.

I am glad they paid a tribute to Snoop he is a legend one of the best mc’s of all time. The G funk era was one of the dopest era’s wit Doggystyle and he should get alot of credit for Dre’s chronic album he was dope.
