  14. |bo0gz| Says:

yea that beat was crazy 50 could have sed anythin over dat beat nd it would have been a hit. . smart move curtis by pushin ur album back nd addin evr single that you dropped cuz his first shit was straight to the bank THRASHHH!!!!!!

  15. JJJ Says:

Putting your beats on the internet is a bad idea. Yeah look what happened to him, he got hes beat stolen. Fortunately for him the guy who stole it was a clown, but it could have easlily been reproduced. Beat makers steal concepts and beats constantly (famous people included). He should be getting more then $15K a beat now with that hit under his belt and more important then that he should be getting some publishing. If you make something oringinal you need to get publishing, if you dont your getting ripped off.

Here’s some real advise for anyone who is starting out. The most important thing above all else is your drums. If your drums sound weak yor beat will suffer for it. Get good drum sounds is your #1 priority and get as many kicks, snares, claps, hi hats, ect… as you can, just hord them. Getting a nice collection of loops is a plus too but that all depends on your personal style.

  16. P-Millz Says:

He stole that beat! He basically jus flipped the I’m A Hustla beat!!! He aint shit!!!

  17. T2 Says:

That beat was hot I think you gotta give props to him for that but also props to 50 he made that beat even better wit the way he used it.

I also like that 50 has a huge interest in establishing producers and gives dudes there shot if they got something hot cus it is easy for 50 to go to Em, Dre and Timbaland.

You must think as a producer you have no chance of producing for someone like 50 but on this album and the massacre he choosed some un established producers.

  18. GOONIESFILMS Says:

“After one hit he’s not up and coming anymore???”

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW THE MUSIC PRODUCTION SIDE OF HIP HOP WORKS:

GETTING A PLACEMENT ON A COMMERCIAL ALBUM IS WHAT EVERY SINGLE PRODUCER DREAMS OF.NOW IMAGINE GETTING A PLACEMENT ON 50 CENTS LATEST ALBUM THAT WILL SELL MILLIONS WORLDWIDE

RTNY UNDERSTANDS THIS ISH ^ ,THATS WHY HE TYPED THAT SENTENCE SNITCHES

  19. GOONIESFILMS Says:

“He basically jus flipped the I’m A Hustla beat”

SINCE WHEN WAS USING THE SAME DRUM KIT CONSIDERED AS STEALING?

I NEED TO GO TO RUGERS,ALL THESE UNINFORMED PEOPLE ARE MAKING ME HUNGRY

  20. Southside Says:

    dude produced a classic record

  21. Oh F@#!in' Pleeze!!! Says:

I like hearing succesful producers talk like him because as a female trying to get started on the production side of things for myself, dudes NEVER wana sit down and show me SHIT!!! Not even the basics like their afraid I’m gonna end up better than them and leave them behind LOL.

    Big ups to him.

  22. Oh F@#!in' Pleeze!!! Says:

and co-sign 18!!! 1 hit as a producer goes MUCH FURTHER than 1 hit as an artist because a song is only as good as the track or instrumentation it was recorded over. It structures the lyrics.

  23. JJJ Says:

    To #21

If you want to start making beats the first thing i would tell you is learn how songs are structured. If you dont understand that your music will sound fucked up. Thats why many DJs become beat makers. They listen to thousands of songs and understand the timeings, its naturally easier for them to compose a song. If you play any instruments, no matter what kind, that always helps. Theres a shitload of equiptment you can use but I would say the standard drum machine is the AKAI MPC. THey got different models depending on how much $ you have to spend. I wouldnt use anything below a MPC 2000 though. You can pretty much use that machine for all your sampeling and sequencing. You will want/need a keyboard /synth at some point. I think the rowland Phantom is pretty much the standard now, but there are so many out there, go to a music store and try them out, see what you like and can afford and go from there. You can buy things cheap on ebay and like the guy in the video mentioned you can even go to pawn shops, just make sure if you buy from a pawn shop what you are buying actually works. I have no idea how advanced you are ad beat makeing so all of this might be old news to you but you said you are starting out so I thought this might help. Good Luck.

  24. GOONIESFILMS Says:

I COSIGN “Oh F@#!in’ Pleeze!!!”IF YOU NEED HELP WITH PRODUCING I CAN HELP YOU OUT UNLIKE THE OTHER PRODUCERS/SNITCHES I BELIEVE IN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AND SUCCESS

“. I think the rowland Phantom is pretty much the standard now”

I AGREE BUT IT COSTS MORE THAN THE BUDGET FOR ‘FINDING CAM’

  25. nessnice Says:
