Lil Wayne stated in XXL magazine that producers will include Kanye West, Scott Storch, The Runners, Timbaland, and will.i.am. Lil Wayne also stated that he will be working with former Cash Money Records producer Mannie Fresh. Scratch magazine confirmed that Dr. Dre will also be working on the album. In an interview with HipHopCanada.com, Solitair of the Black Jays stated that he and Cipha Sounds produced a track for Lil Wayne’s “new project” (possibly referring to Tha Carter III).[3] The Runners have stated that they have produced three tracks for Tha Carter III. Collaborators include Birdman, Enrique Iglesias, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, The Game, and more.

I’m not a consistant fan of Lil Wayne, he is VERY hit and miss to me, but everyone I know inside of this industry that has heard this album (which is just about everyone) says it’s gonna be FIRE!! And that’s people in the industry from here in Cali, from Florida and even some from other places in the east so IDK. I might give him another try after he disappointed me so badly with The Carter II.

honestly i’m waiting for the publicity stunts he’s gonna pull to promote the album. thats gonna decide whether i get it or not. i was never a fan until the carter 2. if he goes about it like a man, and just promotes the album i’ll cop it. but if he does sum 50cent type promotion stunts and does all kinds of crazy shit like get shot in the leg or goes to jail, or gets married on the day the album drops, or jumps out a plane or sumthin, then i aint coppin.
