#11 everyone in rap copies each other. Its like sports, whatever works people follow the formula. Just like with albums, you got your street songs, songs for girls, club anthems ect. I didnt hear the mixtape yet but a boy of mines said its fire. He westcoast bias but game mixtapes normally be hot, he just comes off like he tryin to hard to be hard sometimes.

If u listen to some of his old shit he rapped more bout real shit like Promoside Land, Walk Wit Me and all that and checkk his verses on Anybody Killa (DPG), Feelin It, Streets (Bone Thugs), The Pledge, Gangsta Shit, 1970 Somethin and some old mixtapes dude shows alot more talent on there AND he has improved ALOOOOOOOOOT but he doesn’t really show his potential cuz he wanna keep that westcoast swagger and flow u know which is good but it gets repetetiv u feel me.
First he was rappin real shit (even though he just started rappin then)then he went to Aftermath and started rappin more and more bout gangsta shit and now he’s doin gangsta shit again but wit more skills but only SOMETIMES.

Song is good. I like game cuz hes consistent and doesnt let no one change him. Not for the people, record sells, or record companies. He does him, whether you like it or not. So to me that says a lot. He keeps that west coast hat on like there aint any other and I respect that. They say hip hop is dead cuz it aint like it use to be before. Before you could have been able to tell apart west coast rap from east coast, south from midwest, and so on. But now everybody trying to do south music, homies in NY and CA and every where copy this style and are no longer pure to their enviroment. Game does that west coast shit, he from compton and has the right to do that shit, does other songs too but his core is that west coast gangsta shit. 2pac, same thing just WAY BETTER, was diverse with his music, but his core, that west coast gansta shit was that seperated him from everyone else. I don’t think he improved alot The Documentry is a classic imo but the second album had alot of songs that outshined others by far and he kept to that standard all the time he would have had another classic.
I still think he a talented artist and I like listening to his music but he ain’t a true great which he can be if he puts his mind to it.
