I work in sales and what you just witnessed was pros versus amateurs.. as you can see the battle was not evenly matched those two people on the panel weren’t informed nor ready to defend their veiw point because they are not used to being on tv(fucking bloggers) the host basically threw out a couple distorted facts just to test their knowledge and they noticed that they were not the brightest of the bunch they went in for the kill.They should have had someone such Micheal Dyson. I actually think the album title is a great idea…… Nas is the type of artist thats going to flip the word… just like he did hip-hop is dead… the outro explains that whole album….. I’m very proud of all my fellow hip-hop listeners. I’ve just experienced some good reads from all of the people before me. All I really have to say is, I hope NAS really has a plan with this whole idea. I thought Hip Hop Is Dead stirred up a nice conversation. From what I heard from NAS was that the idea snowballed into something bigger than what he had expected. So a note to NAS be ready cause you know that BILL will be coming next and then probably Uncle (tom) I mean AL. I am getting so sick and tired off all these White News people hating on Hip Hop period. I just got done watching that Fox news report with the discussion on Nas and his RUMORED ALBUM that he may not even be dropping. Well it made me sick to watch them degrade are people in the worst way, by judgeing everything thats wrong with Hip Hop. Now don’t get me wrong, I am the FIRST to admit we have alot of problems to deal with in Hip Hop at this time, but fuck…So does every other element that makes up this sorry ass Country. If these mothafuckas wan’t to point the finger at anybody for the blame of Violance and The Degrading of Women, then it should be at there own White selfs. For the moment they steped foot on the soil of America, they been commiting violant acts. They Killed and stole the land from the Native Community. Enslaved are people for over 400 YEARS! Enslaved the Mexican. Abused, Killed, And Raped are Women. And the list gose on! With these facts alone, I can say that are people are only following the example that they showed us! Because I know they cant think they been a role-model race for us. And anytime one of these news reports are done, they never allow the positive statements be said, without cutting them off just to push forward another Negative Statement. Anybody who really listens to Hip Hop knows that the Language of Hip Hop And the Language of Common Americans are like a Spanish only speaking person and a English only speaking person trying to communicate! I wish the speakers for nas would of came better prepared. Or actually nas needs to talk on his own behalf. Im confident to say if nas was in there. He would make it so, they would understand where hes coming from. But they would have to play it off like they didn’t know where he was coming from.

It’s the same every time, they pick the worst lyrics they can find, then expect other people that didn’t write them to explain them. People always say the defenders of Hip Hop didn’t do a good job, but it doesn’t matter who defends it really it will always have a spin on it.. they don’t really want to understand it.. they want us to get mad and watch, and they want honkies to agree and watch. It’s just ratings, they don’t give a fuck about understanding, they are basically taking the worst of the worst and saying that defines Nas as if a musician. They don’t factor in songs like I Can, If I ruled the World etc.. But when defending someone like their president they will factor in anything to negate the all bad he does, and all the lives he actually has a hand in their demise.

And then acting as if Nas is somehow pulling back the ban “the n-word” movement, it was never successful why are they acting like no one says nigga any more? Like oh fox news thought they abolished the n word, nobody use it anymore!

They say these rappers are glorifying the ills, but why are all their segments on the negative side of hip hop.. Aren’t they in turn also glorifying the so called ills they are “fighting”? Do a segment on what they see as positive Hip Hop, oh I see just like when searching through Nas’s catalog.. they can’t find any.

mainstream america is so caught up on the negative things hip hop has done mean while if you take a walk down memory lane you’ll notice that most serial killers are white im not trying to start a race discussion, but it is really convenient for people to degrade a genre of music just because they might not be able to relate to whats being said. They did it to 2pac and they have done it to a large majority of rappers. If nas isn’t putting out a positive message in hip hop then I don’t know who is.
