That Brooklyn song is still suspect to me doesnt seem like it fits. I still need to hear the rest cant judge off snipetts but sounds like more like Reasonable Doubt than Blueprint.

being teased isnt a good thing. i’ll wait for the album. snippets always make the song sound hotter than it really is

As good as Blueprint

Lyrically short of Reasonable Doubt but has the same Feel

Competes with Kanye for the Best Album of the Year.

YO i Can honestly Say the only joint i aint really feeling is that joint ”I know” besides that i think jay on the right path. he got his swagg back on this joint. n the realest shit about it is that he aint over due it with all the tuff talk cause i alot of niggas b talkin that ol gangsta shit n they aint about Franks (Nathin). keep bangin these niggas albums off the rack jay. ROC

m wrote on October 24th, 2007 at 12:11 am

Musically Graduation Trump American Gangsta
Lyrically AG is better than Graduation.

But as a whole, American Gangsta will be appreciated by MCs.

I guess Jay is still searching for perfection.

Next.. Nas’ NIGGA

Def Jam NEEDS to drop Nas now
they own HipHop like its 2000 all over

Jay is a veteran so he does what it do is natural @ this stage…but i aint getting all carried away and saying i love the new stuff hyping it more than it deserves…it aint wack…some joints are hard… some aint.

34.
cathy wrote on October 24th, 2007 at 5:48 am

MAN THAT SHIT IS HOT

i’m gonna tell yall that hottest song’s on the album ,

ok it’s.. say hello,success,american gangster,fallen..and …

and the rest i really have to hear them in full but them snippets from the ones i just said makes up for

anything that jay said that wasn’t hot ,and it makes up for weezy the best r&b singer alive singing on brooklyn 2.0 the songs i posted are some of the best shit i heard but maybe american gangster the one right behind blu magic maybe a sure hit or shit i can’t choose between them i got to hear this album man for real.

35.
Jessica wrote on October 24th, 2007 at 5:51 am

Tha albumn is cool. I have listed on a
celebrity and millionaire dating site named searchingmillionaire.com. Seems most people there like this song.

36.
cathy wrote on October 24th, 2007 at 6:05 am

exstordinary figgas i’m a exstra ordinary nigga lol (say hello)

and did you hear when he treated ol girl and was like they wanna billie jean me the goddamn boy an’t mine (american gangster)

then he was like “A BUNCH OF NIGGAS ACTING LIKE BITCHES WITH BIG MOUFS ALL THIS STRESS ALL I GOT IS THIS BIG HOUSE,COUPLE CARS I DON’T BRING HALF THEM SHIT’S OUT,ALL THIS ACE OF SPADE I DRINK JUST TO PISS OUT (on success)

i then fallen is amazing

but still i have to wait to hear them all in full.

BECAUSE I DID NOT LIKE THE GRADUATION SNIPPETS AT ALL I DIDN’T LIKE ANYTHING but now it’s one of my favorite album of this whole year. so we’ll see can’t judge to quickly cuz i know some fools gon say it’s wack errrly

i know. that’s how children get down. yall gotta chill first .if you don’t like it say so. if you do ok. but to call it wack or a classic that’s just being retarted
and childish

37.

I think it sounds dope and Jay definetly taked it back with this one he got the balance just right by the sounds of the snippets. His lyrics are always on point and he sounds like he has regained his old flow so I can tell it is a classic.

The Movie will be the best movie of 2007, I don’t think this will be anywhere close to album of the year, I liked the Roc Boys songs though. Jay-Z will do big numbers but the content will be average.

Here is something About American Gangster that was relayed to me by Jigsaw, who heard the whole thing. There are some specific changes between the preview and his. I ain’t heard it, but its called “When The Money Goes” and Jermaine Dupri produced it. Jig says its crazy! He also said Jay took the advice of a group of journalists and change the lyrics to a Marvin Gaye sampled song called “This S**t Right Here.” The lyrics and the beat weren’t quite matching up so that turned into “American Dreamin’.” Same sample, different lyrics.
