Kanye West & Jay-Z Shut Down Powerhouse

In vintage fashion, JAM’N 94.5’s annual concert blowout sported no-shows and surprises. Fabolous didn’t make it. But Jay-Z did, turning up, appropriately enough, during the climax of Kanye West’s “Big Brother.” The place erupted, and the pair of powerhouses teamed up on a double-strength performance of “Encore,” as well as a dark, driving number nobody knew but everybody seemed to love, perhaps from Jay-Z’s soundtrack for the upcoming film “American Gangster.”

  9. Ryan Says:

The performance was memorable with Jay coming out to PSA, performing most of the ROC Boys before leaving to Encore.

From what I hear Weezy took too long to hit the stage after Kanye and Jay were done. This cut into his time and there was a 11:30 curfew at the Garden. They cut his mic off at that time and started putting all the house lights on.

    Fab didn’t get to perform.

RealTalkNY: We have a couple videos i’ll e-mail you later.

Jay keeps upstaging everyone with these maneuvers. I can’t help but think Kanye is a little salty that American Gangster has taken over Graduation in terms of popularity contest standards.
