OFF TRACK: Didn’t the dude supposedly do it all in the game already and accept another job. Why is it every black person in the limelight has like 5 jobs? And why do these guys make more off of everything execpt they’re art form?
Fifty made more money off the Vitamin water deal than he probably with all his albums.

@ #27 (Meekness) Cam broke acts though… up until that time what sussecfull act did Jay bring in? All the state prop cats and dip cats came on the strength of dame from my understanding.

What kills me is how is Dame making a bad business move when y’all suppoprt any and everything Jay does… if american ganster is a good Idea this new reasonable doubt album is a great Idea!

Obviously, I can’t speak on Dame’s worth because I don’t know the dude, but what I can say is that there is HUGE different between “net worth” and liquified funds. You can be worth 200 mil or whatever and still be broke my friends. See, Micheal Jackson, see O.J. Simpson, see M.C. Hammer. If your net worth comes from investments in Houses, Cars, Stocks (not bonds b/c they are considered liquid), paintings ect.. you may not be that rich, because the only time that worth becomes “real,” i.e. liquified is when you can sell that asset for a profit. You can buy a house for 60 mil but only get 50 mil back depending on depreciation. I know that’s a big word for most of you but give it time you one day will learn. Anyway, a person real worth can only be accurately accounted once he settles all of his liabilites against his assests. Considering Dame had to get 5 mil cash (liquid funds) from Jay says that he may not be in such a great financial situation after all. Topic at hand. Dame’s way of getting some buzz plain and simple. He’s been sitting on these tracks since 04, why wait to release them now. He could sell them, but he would have to split a 1/3 of the profit to Jay for his portion of ownership in R.D. I don’t think they want to deal on the business level anymore so just put it out for a little airtime before your reality tv show kicks off! Whatever. I’m sure Jay doesn’t care. Lesson over.

Naw I’m not a hating on dame, he a great business man. Just haven’t seen dame in the spot light lately. I blame him cuz he fuck the whole R.O.C empire by feeding for Dipset. Since he Cam mentor, he given Cam tip on good hiding spot
