Mos Def is an idiot, I’ve lost all respect for him by the crap he was vomiting on Maher’s show. Osama wasn’t behind 9/11? The moon landings were faked? There is nothing promoting violence against infidels in the Koran? George Washington was a terrorist?! Please, the man didn’t go after civilians, he went after the British Army! That’s not terrorism, it’s a civil war or revolution! And worst of all Def could barely articulate his arguements, thank God West was there to to attempt to explain whatever drivel that moron was saying.

How many civilians did George Washington target and kill? Let’s not blur definitions. A revolt against a suppressive political regime in the form of an attack on the troops of the oppressing regime is usually referred to as a civil war or revolution. Flying a commercial airliner full of innocent civilians into skyscrapers is neither. I know modern education is big on relativism, where there are no absolutes, only differences of opinion, but if you think the two are the same you’re cutting with a dull knife. Your reactions remind me of church folk who start dancing around euphorically as an evangelist stokes them with unintelligable rantings. It seems to matter less what’s being said than the way it makes you feel. Well, regardless of the way he made you feel, MOS DEF is mos definitely and mush mouth idiot. Man didn’t walk on the moon…check please!

I love Bill Maher’s show and I have to admit that I didn’t really know much about Mos Def, but he totally lost me when he said he didn’t believe in Al Qaeda. His heart is in the right place, but he (and anyone who believes that garbage) needs to do a little research. The “Government” didn’t make up Al Qaeda, officials and newspeople from all over the world have been involved with researching them and investigating Al Qaeda. The Iraqi people talk about fighting them, former members talk about being in the organization, etc. etc. Do you think our government runs Al Jazeera too?

He even said he doesn’t think they really went to the moon!!! I’m sorry if it offends people, but when you sound that ignorant, nobody is going to take anything else you say seriously. It’s too bad, because he’s dead on about the Jenna Six. At least Maher brought the incident up.
