    Good Stuff…

  2. The King Says:

i wish i could be up there talkin wit these people.
parents should be role models to their kids.
wit that being said, parents cant be everywhere all the time. hip hop music has more of an influence than any other music, and it influenced us a lil when we was young.
-on one hand nelly coulda thought of his influence on kids when he made “tip drill”
-on the other hand, he casted a bunch of strippers for a video, they’re strippers thats what they do.
-people got madd that snoop dogg had bitches on leashes,
-dem bitches chose to be on leashes, if they said no, there were 2 more behind them willing to do it.
and as far as t.i. goes, nobody really cares what u did in your past, hip hop aint like movies, we know movies are fake and some of them have happy endings, the bad guy always dies. hip hop claims to be REAL and the so called bad guy wins, why wouldnt kids want to grow up and sale drugs and kill people, u did it, and look at you now

  3. Black Queen Says:

Anything negative is always going to have a large effect on society. Like everything else does…and negativity spreads quickly than positivity does. That’s why it’s important to make a concious decision to always try to spread positive energy. Gangsta rap didn’t make people kill anyone however it fueled that attitude and the mood in people…the 90s was an angry time to grow up in hiphop and in the world. I was glad when Nelly came out because he was a party rapper…I love the party rappers and concious rappers to help keep the peace in the hiphop community

  4. The King Says:

why the fuck is t.i. always amped every fuckin time he speaks, no matter what the topic, this nigga probably be amped singing happy birthday.ultimate napoleon complex

and he dont realize that his gangsta image and drug dealin and murder talk has a far greater influence than any charity he’s ever giving money to. like the queen said negativity spreads way faster than positivity.
u never hear youngings sayin hey he donated a million dollars to study bone marrow disease, i wanna do that too.

  5. CaliLove... Says:

I agree with the King and Queen…spit somethin’ positive for once, please!

  6. Pounce Says:

Show is stupid, its like FOX News starting a show about why the media is bad for society when they put out the damn news.

  7. Im selling oranges papi Says:

  8. Crazy Says:

You know what is sad about this. We got our own people trying to destroy hip hop. When we made hip hop as a form of expressing ourself.Rock stars do heavy drugs , degrade woman , destroy public property and they get idolize for it. Some white man insults a female basketball team. And Everybody whining and bitch like this is our fault.

Fuck Jesse and Al fucking turncoats.

  9. Benny Says:

  11. Ahijah Says:

Some should ask T.I. If hitting someone’s manager & hitting a fan is setting a good example for kids who like his music and go to his concerts.

  13. who tha be Says:

nobody tells nobody what music to listen to, this is just another attack on hip-hop. right know they’re an easy target. when you buy a 50 cent album it is located in the entertainment section just like the “saw” movies. if you raised your child to be leveled headed and they’re is school and not running the street like a NYC rat then your good.

  14. Murda Ma$$ Says:

Iwish sum good rappers were there besides Nelly and TI

  15. juicygotemcrazy Says:

ive posted on on all these posts, as a mother i am offended when people try to place blame instead of looking at the mistakes that they have made. stop letting the TV babysit your kids, but them in sports, dance, karate, music lessons, anything!! i have said before, you have to be the strongest influence in your childs life. if you dont like whats going on out here then turn it off, negativity is only in your life when you let it in.

  16. capo Says:

THE PROBLEM IS PARENTS AINT RAISING THEY KIDS AND ITS NO FATHERS IN THE HOOD THEY ALL GONE AND THE MOM AT WORK ALL THE TIME TRYNA PAY BILLS OR IN THE STREETS ON THAT SHIT SO THE STREETS RAISE THE KIDS THEY PEERS RAISE EM I MEAN HIP HOP DONT HELP WIT THE BULLSHIT THEY SPREAD BUT IT DEFINITELY AINT THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM

    CAPO = DEFINITION OF REALTALK

  17. Aamarian Says:

T.I KNOW HE WAS UP THEIR LYING AND HOW HE JUST GO COME AT KANYE TALKING ABOUT THE ONLY PEOPLE BOUGHT HIS ALBUM WAS COLLEGE KIDS THAT NIGGA NEED TO FALL BACK HOW HE GOING TO HATE ON KANYE BECAUSE HE TOOK A DIFFERENT APPROACH WITH HIS MUSIC AND HE STILL SELLS KANYE FROM THE HOOD JUST LIKE THE REST OF THEM HE JUST EDUCATED WHY THEY TALKING ABOUT GLOCKS AND AK,S BITCHES AND HOES AND THE HOOD WHEN THEY SITTING UP IN A MILLION DOLLAR MANSION KICKING IT WITH WHITE FOLKS AND THEIR CHILDREN SOMEWHERE IN PRIVATE SCHOOL OR WITH THE NANNY THEY FAKE ASS HELL

  18. yll Says:

these rappers sound ignorant as hell talking.

  19. dat dude Says:

  20. queens bridge Says:

yo this whole rap shit is a fantasy…these rap niggaz aint real..they be on these records talking all tough and claiming how they still sell drugs…motherfucker niggas who sell drugs dont want to sell drugs they just dont have a choice they gotta feed there seeds…then the radio play the same shit all day brain washing niggas and thats why you got a whole city of niggas who think they go hard or they gangstas…and the shit that make me mad wit New York is Rich Porter, Alpo, Az, Larry Davis, Nicky Barnes, and who ever else these niggas should be examples to us…they showed us that life style dont last forever…man ima finish wit this its alright to listen to rap music but remember at the end of the day its just ENTERTAINMENT!!!!

  21. T2 Says:

The environment that young people live in and what they are exposed to has a stronger influence and hip hop is a expression of that. Not all of it is good from an influential point of view but that is the parents responsiblity.

Why do they never ask questions on the women in the videos they say hip hop down grades them but what about the women themselves they are responsible for there own actions, and they influence young girls who think it is good to be in a music video being portrayed badly. That is where double standards is shown.

  22. D Says:

Wake up “hip hop artist, moguls, presidents and CEO’s,” you are all hypocrites in so many ways. How can you grow up in these “cursed,” environments and not be concsince of the the words that come out of your mouths when you are telling your “hood stories,” and why do you continuelly choose to tell the same exact stories over and over (as if we couldnt comprehend the first time). We all have the power to change our environments with the words We speak. I agree, parents should be the role models for their children but since we all know that 9x’s out of 10 this does not necessarily happen then it is up to all of us to make sure our children are encouraged, and empowered by our words. Whether you want to admit it or not music is sooo influential in our communities and if these children continue to hear and assume that through your words and experiences the only way to prosper is by selling drugs, stripping, stealing, or murdering than how can we expect the “curse,” to be lifted from our communities? If u rap about how much dope you sell or sold, how many b****** you f***, who you killed or will kill, and what you will take by any means, then walk out of the sound booth, or your executive suite and go home to your huge house, condo, loft etc….then IT IS YOUR FAULT FOR CONTINUING TO DESTROY OUR YOUTH! because when you are done playing and perputrating with your words, the young men and women of these environments are still suffering. So the question is how much longer will you all exploit our kids and environments for capital gain? Its sad to know that we as a community were blessed with so many great men and women to represent us and no one seems to be doing a good job…POSITIVE, GOD FILLED WORDS WILL MOVE US FORWARD AND I HAVE FAITH THAT WE AS A PEOPLE WILL SOON WAKE UP! GOD BLESS US ALL.

  23. D-Boy Says:

to me “hip-hop” is the realest form of music out der.. wheter its talkin bout ferraris n lambos, dese guys can really buy dem n drive em.. or wheter its talkin bout growin up in da hood livin da hard life, n finally makin it out, DAT REALLY HAPPEND.. so all da sudden when da kids listen to “real” stuff, its a problem??? …

but dont get it twisted.. i have no comments on songs like “ay bay bay” or “wipe me down” .. dese are “party” songs n have fun songs.. but 4 dose rappers out der really speakin dey minds, i think dass da best thing der is out der, WHEN PPL SPEAK DEY MINDS AS LONG AS DEY KEEP IT 100..

  24. KEpps Says:

I have an issue with women you are so appalled and upset with these rappers for calling us b*** and h**…the issue is that if we don’t respect ourselves as women how can we then turn around and expect them to give us something that we don’t give ourselves. If there was no one there lined up for miles to do the Tip Drill video, guess what, Nelly would be forced to take another route. Ladies, let’s learn to respect and love ourselves as queens before we condemn our brothers for not doing it for us!!

  25. trigger Says:

Nelly should apologize for that tip dril video… that was so fucked up and we know he aint the only one doing those kind of videos but that was just crossing the line.

  26. jb Says:

fuck that hip hop is da realest shit ever i rather listen to niggaz like pac,50,nwa,t.i. and otha niggaz give they true testimonies about they life then niggaz like kanye, and lupe talkin about shit thats wrong in da hood wen they were and still are squares i cant listen to niggaz that i cant relate to and hip hop should not be blamed for kids doin dumb shit parents watch yo damn kids or dont have them period…

  27. FA$Hi0Ni$TA Says:

This was a good lil debate; but my question is…where is all the OTHER rappers?? NELLY AND T.I??? thats the only “rappers” that would step up?? come on now!!!

  28. Kala Nation Says:

Number 8 crazy you are the most ignorant buffoon,Ive ever heard.Get a life.Hip hop belongs to WHITE AMERICA.THEY BUY NEARLY ALL OF IT WE ARE JUST PROVIDING THEIR KIDS WITH SOME CLOWN IGNORANT,SAVAGE ENTERTAINMENT WHILE THEY RULE OVER US.you are clueless and lost my brother.
