downside, we’ve all been hearing him for almost 10 years, he was never lyrical in the begining, and by lyrical i mean nasty lyrical. then he started rappin a lil more better but it was wack to me. then i heard gillie was ghostwriting, but i aint believe it, then i heard gillie rhyme and he sounded like wanyes flow, on the carter 1.
then he said he left b4 the carter2, and wayne’s whole flow changed up, it got better, yes, but if gillie wrote pt1 who the fuck is writing pt2. i wasnt a fan till pt2. and while his flow got nasty within this month, he started dating trina, became a blood,and was trying to get wit rocafella cuz he was a free agent, he got overlooked and linked up wit dipset instead.
if he needed a ghostwriter in the past then i cant believe he’s the one writing these rhymes now,he’s nicer now then b4, doesnt make sense just my opinion

Wayne is hot garbage. How can he be sitting on a throne when he’s been out 4ever and just got nice? How can he be nice when he has ghostwriters? How can he be the King of Rap when he’s not even consistent? He’s definitely a product of Jay-Z and Gillie. Just because you constantly dropped mixtapes doesn’t make you hot. If his rhymes were that HOT, those 77 raps would’ve been distributed by a label. He’s trying to play catch up to Jay’s catalogue, but Jay’s catalogue actually has HOT RHYMES sans ghostwriters – BIG DIFFERENCE.

rap and ball are different but if you 12 and start rappin, your experiences and shit your vocab is going to change by the time you get 24/25. Dont get to caught up on the analogy. My point is every once has a different pace than others. Hov is 37 and how long has he really been hot, like mainstream and making money? since 96 or 97. His flow was completely different early in his career.

But he set up a formula for rap. 50 kinda followed the formula but with his own twist and now he is right below him on the forbes list but it only took him 4 maybe 5 yrs.

Fuck lil wayne..he’s jus plain trash along wit 99.99 percent of rappers out rite now. rappers dont realize that punchlines that have no significant purpose or message ain really worth listenin 2. At this moment rap can’t even be put in the music category. Musicians are supposed to make songs..meaning somthing that has rythym, flow, some sort of message, and a reasonable intelligent chorus. Only a few rappers are capable of making songs. pac, biggie, snoop, jay-z, eminem, 50cent n probably a few more rappers i didnt menton. That probably explains why these rappers can sell records.If rap ain sellin .. dont blame tha south, or rap or none of that. tha problem is tha essence of music got lost somewhere along tha way
