Damn the site is blowing up, more and more artist are checking out the site. I had your back Swizz, did the interview, posted your 105 interview and speech about deading beef with 50 Cent. Swizz holla at me if you want a banner.
Swizz unfortunately sold 45k the first week followed by 15k in week two. Talib sold 60k first week & 24k in the second week. Talib out sold Swizz even though Talib didn’t have the same amount of buzz and airplay.

These record sales are NO indicator of quality, as we can see with the results of Talib Kweli’s cd. Its just sad to see such a hard working emcee like Talib only get so far.

The thing with swizz beatz is… he makes crazy beats but he can’t rap to save his life… most of his lyrics are bitten from other rappers…i mean he even jacked diddy’s lyrics… thats when you know your in trouble…

Let me just STAND UP and say Swizz album is CRAZY!!!!!! I copped it the first day it came out. Beats are ridiculous, and his rhymes are on point. He is talking about having fun, working hard, real life, being fly and just chilling. It is a FUN summer album. Play it in ya ride like he said “riding wit’ my top down, and my jewelry on.” I love it!!! It was definitely slept on. Swizz is a plus in my book. I’ve been riding with him since DAY ONE. I heard both audios. Thanks REALTALK for posting it. K tried to slay him, but Swizz is a good dude. He’ll be alright. I know his sales were low, but ya boy is TALENTED.

why do the really good albums not sell ?? Jin, Swizzy etc. I feel sorry for Talib, Mos Def n them. But look at Common, he didnt even have that buzz, but look at the people he was around, it was marketing in its own right, maybe execs should’ve put more chips on marketing and the singles were a little too far spaced out, plus pushing back the album really never helps unless you 50, Em n them, its like being late for an interview, the public was interviewing Swizzy, but he was late, nomatter how good it was, he was late.

I didn’t expect swizzy to see a lot. I can barely listen to his music. His flows are boring, thats why he did sell. just make beats and put cass on like dude said.
I just wished talib would sell more, more people need to hear what talib is talking about. Even though swizz beat is considered bigger than talib. Imo talib is like the giant and swizzy is and ant. but thats my opion. I would rather hear talib that swizzy any day.

it’s funny that today’s Hip Hop continue to stress record sales when like it has been said before doesn’t determine the quality of music. I could care less if an album sells 100 copies if that cd is sick… I never cared about how many albums an artist sold I was cut from a different cloth I just cared about the quality of music that was put out….

Swizz is hott! Beats are hott, flow is not bad, but he’s not a rapper. Real talk, the album is NOT CORNY at all. Point is, he just didn’t sell well. Nobody knew he was coming.

The bottom line is Swizz thought he could do what cats like Large Pro did back in the day and what Kanye is currently doin’ and that is be known not only 4 producin’ beats but 4 spittin’ quality verses. Problem is he sucks a** on the mic and he’s wastin’ people’s time. I heard a joint by him on the radio a few days ago and I was embarrassed 4 him thinkin’ 2 myself: “Damn does son REALLY not know?”

I don’t know about swizz album. I expected a little more from him.There are a bunch of radio friendly songs on there. Which is kool if you like that stuff but i don’t. See what happens when try to make song for the whips , the radios and the clubs… YOU STILL FLOP. I say if your gonna to flop … at least make the album hard.Ain’t nothing selling out there anyways what is point of trying to go commercial when you ain’t gaining nothing out of it.

Swizz Beatz is 1 of the best producers he’s produced classics for DMX & Ruff Ryderz, Jay-Z and Cassidy but as a rapper he is trash.
His album is garbage he got way more promotion than Kweli and Kweli still sold more i’m not comparing them as rappers because there is no comparison i’m just saying based on promotion Swizz’s sales are terrible. lol
