RealTalkNY Has An Online Show In The Works, Also Showcasing Up & Coming Models.
RealTalkNY & The Rawkus Network have decided to take things to another level by creating an online TV show on the latest entertainment news. The show is in it’s early stages but we are sure it will be a big success just like RealTalkNY.net. So right now we are open to suggestions from the loyal readers of the site. What things would keep you entertained and motivate you to watch an online show on a weekly basis? What topics would you like covered and what kind of stories would you like to see. Any suggestions and/or opinions will be highly appreciated.
CASTING
RealTalkNY/Rawkus are now conducting a search for VJ’s for the new online show. We are looking for charismatic females/males(18-26), with a decent knowledge of Hip Hop, great interviewing skills & their own unique style and swagger. VJ’s will conduct interviews, provide coverage for events and speak on the latest issues in the entertainment world. VJ’s would need to be available in the New York area.
If interested submit:
*A Few Headshot Photos
*Resume(Will still be considered without related experience)
*A Brief Bio(2-3 paragraphs)
*Short Video of yourself, discussing why you should be considered for the job and your thoughts on Hip Hop. Upload your video to youtube and provide a link to the video in your submittal.

Good shit. My only quarrel, 18 is kind of young and dumb lol. Not trying to watch 106 minus the vids in a 15 minute youtube segment. Should be 21-27. Older heads would have better knowledge of hip hop which would probably equal to better interviews. But that’s just my opinion.

I agree with Anon up the age of the interviewers…..Youth with all due respect is the reason for the lack of good music right now in hip hop……
Also new talent…..you have alot of info on people already in the game but not much on people trying to get in that are hot……

I think this is a good look RTNY. i would just love for you to be more ahead of the curve, set some trends, i know the peeps at RTNY have been very busy, but i get upset when other sites have posts days before you do. more underground tracks would be nice, give us more music/hip hop reviews.

Keep it up RTNY, good sh*t…Just in my age range (22)…When is the deadline?…I wouldn’t mind being a participant…As a side job/gig type of deal…But, the only problem is I just graduated from college and I am moving to LA in January for a job I landed…But my prime location is NY…So, maybe shit can still work out…I’m still gonna apply, cuz i’m sure you need people in LA too…Best of both worlds…Ya know…
