Lupe goes in with the first official single off his new album The Cool, scheduled for release on November 20. Possibly working with Kanye and Pharrell, could this be the album that takes Lupe over the top?

Lupe is great but I don’t think he will sell like he hope i hope he does big number but this is 2007 & not 2003 so it unlikely he will do huge numbers. This is a great song I remember hearing it a couple of weeks ago the song is fire. But I dobut it will get played on radio, Chamillionaire will flop

Yeah i also agree with 9 about Chamillionaire will flop and Mike Jones too just like Paul Wall did. But i think after 9/11 hip-hop sales will be on a rise again and many rappers will go platinum including Lupe. And as far as airplay, DJ ENUFF at Hot 97 was playing here in NYC and said he will be blasting it off alot.

Lupe is 1 of the best lyricist right now. But people are ignorant & stupid. they wouldn’t buy music that they would have to listen to to understand. they buy music which when they hear it once or twice, they know the whole song & dont have to think about it.
Face it, if Lupe came out from 95-00. he would be considered as 1 of the best rappers. but right now, we’re in a new phase. mostly intelligent people listen to rappers like Lupe. hopefully all the real hip-hop listeners keep rappers like Lupe alive

Lupe is definetely gonna kill it, I’m surprised I didn’t even know about the upcoming album till now. I agree with #26, 31, and 34 (well, really most of yal are showing love, not hate, as RTNY usually has in spades). We need to show support and go buy his album and go see ‘im in concert.
