Rihanna is not a R&B artist. Her album is more of a pop/rock album and when I hear her voice, I don’t think of a R&B/soul artist. Funny people consider her R&B only because she’s black. This is a song written by Ne-Yo so obviously this is going to be a laid back R&B song.

I’m suprised by how much Def Jam expose Rihanna seeing as she’s never gone platinum even though she’s released 3 albums in 3 YEARS which is RARE for an artist who’s hasn’t been out for long…

@ DJGX how is Ciara trying to be like Bey? They are two completely different artist but they both got the game on lock. Rhi is ok but I personally think her new image is too much. She was cool back in her pon de replay days. Now she just lacks originality and Rhi does not sell records like that. Ciara’s 1st album went double plat in the us and sold 5 mill WW. Evolution is also certified plat maybe even and it went plat with one single “promise”. Ciara is the only chick in the pop/r&B game that sells close to Bey.
