Chicago Bans Sexually Suggestive Dancing @ School Dances
Fliers announcing this month’s Evanston Township High School homecoming dance carry the warning: “salacious or inappropriate dancing” — often called “juking” — is outlawed.
As the homecoming dance season approaches, Chicago-area schools are wrestling with how to stomp out sexually suggestive dancing, or juking, especially one version in which a girl grinds into a boy, her back to his front.
During a meeting with student council members, kids insisted, “This is how we dance. Weren’t you young once?” Romain recalled. “I said to them, ‘If I asked you to dance at homecoming, would you expect me to juke with you?’ They said, ‘No, that’s different.’ I said, ‘Well, this is different, too. We’re not in someone’s basement.’”
Kids don’t dance no more, all they do is this, all they do is this. I’m not going to lie and say I don’t want a woman grinding on me at a party, but little kids don’t need to be doing this. Kids are growing up too fast and base everything on TV. Grinding at parties definitely leads to grinding in a bed. So to have middle school kids and young high school kids doing it is just asking for problems. I would have to worry about a young female that decides to bend over and go over board while dancing, seems like she is craving the wrong type of attention.

It has to start somewhere. Everything has it’s root. and for you to go to the club as an adult and have a girl grind on you. you had to have done that as a teen at a high school party. I’m not saying kids should dance like this. I think kids and adults shouldn’t be dancing like that at all. This topic leads me to th subject of ’secular’ and the demoralization of society. Or maybe I’m digging too deep, but in actuality that’s what it really boils down to.

While I agree that you can’t stop the hormones from raging & know there are always going to be fast ass kids in a race to be sexual (though they used to be the exception, not the norm)…THAT shit is waaaay over the top. Simulated sex is not “grindin” & it’s not a good look AT ALL for young kids. definitely agree with you RealTalkNY. I think teenagers are seeing it as okay to do things like that at that age because of what they see on MTV and whatever other shows.
Young teens are exposed to so many things that wasn’t even remotely close to what I seen when I was in middle school and look at the clothes that these teenagers are wearing…they are showing a lot more skin. This is coming from a guy who is 23 years old. Kids are growing up fast and mature and tryna be adults when they can’t really take care of themselves yet.
