I picked 3 generations of hip hop and the fashion they were wearing at that time. Hip hop is constantly changing.. The reason its growing so much is because its diverse.. You have your pack packers, gangster rappers, your dance rappers.. etc. Some reach the masses and some don’t. But this is not about that its about people calling people gay because of what they wear.. Why Andre 3000 get a pass but Kanye get criticized. Why the character Omar from the wire dress like a thug but is clearly a gay (on the show)..but nobody mention that shit. All straight people don’t dress alike.. so what makes you think all gay people dress alike? Kanye, 50, Jay, or no one person represent Hip hop. If you think of it like that then I think your vision is limited.. dolo I see your point but you cant put hip hop in a box. Like I said before.. I respect your opinion but I tried to give you some examples to look at.. I encourage you to look up the videos.. You will get a laugh out of it… but its no way I can say they are gay by looking at what they wear.. I had a lesbian on my job tell me that cross dressers are not necessarily gay.. We disagreed for hours but she said.. Just because a man wear a dress doesn’t mean he is gay.. Then she mentioned martin, Jamie Foxx, and Eddie Murphy.. hmmmmmmm she had a point.

storm90057…it doesnt affect me at all.. but u got to think about shit.. look who is representing hip hop.. when i think of hip hop u dont think of kanye west style..that style is not hip hop.. what hip hop legend dresses & acts like kanye west?? if kanye west came out in the 90’s he wouldnt b as big as he is now, he probably wouldnt b out..Nowadays we live in a country where its ok to be gay… turn on mtv u see 2 guys kissing.. the world is changing.. people see these things and get used to it.. so now people like a rapper who dresses w/tight jeans and shirts..when did that become hip hop….if kanye west is raps spokesperson that is not a good look.. because he doesnt come out w/no raps songs.. im not saying his songs r all wack ,cause some of them r good.. but just because there good songs.. doesnt mean there raps songs, cause there not.. i want to hear rap.. he is a pop artist.. there is soooo much corny people in america.. y do u think kanye will outsell jay or nas or jada….because people like corny.. exactly what em said was the reason he came out w/hi my name is..he said people like corny music…and the people who by music are females who dont understand real music, and little kids who ask there parents to by them cd’s..kanyes whole cd is nothing but slow cuts.. he has knw raw uncut real rap music… he is killing rap music
